So, I only gave this kit a 4 star review and that’s due to the boom arm and some other minor nit picks. This review is written from the perspective of someone that wanted to upgrade from a headphone/mic combo to something better.

It also features built-in RGB, physical controls for the mic gain and headphone out, and a built-in limiter to help prevent clipping. I sometimes play at night when everyone in the house is asleep so I tend to speak more quietly during those times. When it is stretched out to nearly its max the stand will start to dip a little bit because of the weight on the end of the boom arm, but this does seem a little excessive to me and I can’t imagine many setups would require that stretch. Now I think both sound great and we have sound examples of both in the video if you want to hear them for yourself. A word of advice for those new to these types of mics: the gain knob is very useful but also annoying if you don’t know how to compensate.
