Description

There’s no penalty for not completing one, and the rules say you can only complete each one once. Meaning if you try and fail, you can attempt again next turn. Mass Conjuration The Arcanites are divided in several cults often even hidden from themselves, secretly plotting against each other and every other inhabitant, constantly in search of new secrets and magic artifacts. Cult Demagogue –If you roll doubles the spell automatically succeeds, no matter the casting value. If the spell is not unbound you get 2 fate points instead of 1. Not bad but probably won’t come in the clutch when you need it. C+ Secret Eater –Attach to a bearer’s weapon. If you roll an unmodified 6 you can roll a die and get another Destiny Die. Chances to get new Destiny Dice are few and far between so you should scoop these up when you can. A Again, while not part of the Disciples of Tzeentch tome, the Krondspine Incarnate is an excellent addition to the army. It gives extra bonus’ to the Wizard who is Bonded. Also, it is an absolutely immovable anvil that will, in most circumstances, take at least two player turns to be destroyed. The ability to grab a unit in combat and not allow them to retreat, all while the rest of your army blasts them with magic, is a huge utility. This all gets better if you have a good way to let it run Wild, and feed it your own Endless Spells to power it up even more. Sample Disciples of Tzeentch Army (2K pts)

as they look great and save time, but I was a bit short for cash at the time. Fortunately I'm really happy with the The Tzeentch Arcanites can be found mostly in 3 boxes, unfortunately there is no Start Collecting or other discounted box available at this time.

Arcanite Cabal – Any combination of 3-8 Magisters, Fatemasters and Tzaangor Shaman –3 good Heroes that are worth taking on their own, and the ability is solid. Whenever spending a Destiny Dice, you may roll a die and on a 2+ you can replace one of your remaining dice. If you roll bad you don’t have to replace it so it’s a safe way of getting rid of those 3s and 4s that clutter up your Destiny Tray. B A good intro on Warhammer TV explains how to paint the Eyes of the Nine, a Warhammer Underworld warband, ideal for inspiration. This should be used at your advantage together with the mobility and the eventual use of the Tzaangor abilities. Your friends might not like you – Tzeentch is considered top tier, so you might get a reputation as “That guy”. Realistically finding it is a bit more difficult. A more viable option is the Aether War box, if you can find a friend to split with it, it shares the box with Kharadron Overlords so if you can find a friend to split the cost it will give you some solid units to get started. In the box you’ll find 6 Tzaangor Skyfire/Enlightened (I recommend building them all as enlightened with spears), 3 screamers of Tzeentch and a Magister of Tzeentch on a disc. This box is a little more unfocused and doesn’t give you what you need to play a matched play game. So if you buy this I would still buy yourself some Tzaangors and/or Kairic acolytes to fulfill your battleline combination. A Tzaangor Shaman or Fatemaster would round out the list with another Hero to be the Magister’s friend in crime.

Artefact of Power: Brand of the Split Daemon –+1 save to the bearer. Short, simple and apreciated. As stated many times most Tzeentch heroes have terrible saves so just about anyone can benefit from this A

Maybe add a wargear option in the same slot as the scroll and vulcharc to let them cast a psychic power (or use a psychic action) in the Psychic Phase to buff their Coruscating Flames strength until the end of the turn? Coruscating flames are actually just copied direct from Horrors, who do have a few ways to up their Strength. The eventual intent was to also add "Conjured Horrors" etc as an option for TS, and make warpflamers, coruscating flames, etc, all part of the same "flame weapons" list, but I haven't got around to that. In the meantime, it's just... a thing they do. Watch this space, I guess!
