About this deal

Following up on this, would a Lighting Node Pro controller work as another solution to having more than six RGB fans?

It'd need a roughly 30mm lift to fit the fans between the top of the outer case and the bottom of the glass. I'm gonna connect everything and test it today to see if it works daisy chained and will let you know. Commander PRO achieves zero RPM via DC/voltage control - so in this case, it is turning off your LL or QL fans even though they do not support zero RPM. Once your cooler is installed to your motherboard, it is time to connect the fans and pump to the iCUE Commander CORE. m having the same issue trying to get a h170i Elite LCD (with its associated Commander XT) to work with a second Commander Core XT and a Commander Pro.Mi idea es comprar otro Commander XT y conectarle 6 ventiladores QL120 (204leds), la bomba XD5 (10 leds) y el bloque CPU XC7 (16 leds) en serie a la entrada RGB. That new Fan I just installed, I can't control the RPM it stays stuck on 900/RPM, other Fans I can control . Today I uninstall (from "device manager") the usb controllers, then reboot so windows would install them again and I had no problem so far, I don't date to say that the problem is fixed yet because it could happen the same thing that when I installed the powered hub, I would post in a couple of days if the problem persists or if it's finally fixed.

Note that the Core XT also has a single 3-pin RGB channel that can also be used for a fan hub or strips or whatever . Adding a Lighting Node CORE controller would be an ideal solution if you need to connect more than six RGB fans.

So if you need more RGB/fans, then you need another CORE (with or without XT) or lightning node pro (just remember this one is RGB only, not fan control). If you don't have any of those RGB controllers from old builds, the Commander XT is the logical choice.

If you've chosen to stick to our traditional PC components, these two diagrams will have given you a clearer idea of how to wire up your system. Thanks for the quick response, a week ago I installed the NZXT powered usb hub and things were going well, but 2 days ago I started with the connection and disconnection problem. Use CORSAIR iCUE software for precise fan speed control and intelligent fan detection, along with RGB lighting control for multiple components. The Commander Pro has 6 QL 120mm Fans powered and all 6 lighting wire are connected to 1st USB Lighting Node.

Hi guys, I have a question for you, I'm setting up a new pc with customized liquid cooling, considering the fans (4 x ql 120) (7x ql 140) and the rgb components of the hydro series (block for cpu and pump / tank and GPU) I have a total of 14 connections for the leds, I wanted to connect them all through core xt which is the simplest in my opinion to use, but I have only one usb port remaining on the motherboard, do I need 3 xt cores? of course you can join the corsair discord and ask some of the people who work for corsair yourself. I pluged the Commander Core XT and the Lightning Node Core on the internal USB-Hubs and the AIO on the Commander Core XT Hub.Now I know the Capellix comes with the "Commander Core", but I believe that's only enough to run the radiator fans, and 3 more fans for a total of 6. Las tiras led de la caja y los restantes 4 ventiladores QL120 al Commander XT que viene con la caja.
