My glasses tend to break the ear pad seal by creating gaps toward the front, but even without glasses on, I can easily hear sounds around me. The G535 is far from the flashiest of headsets, with the entire body made of an all-black plastic material.

When you factor in the 236-gram weight, the result is comfort for hours, which is great to see for a wireless headset. The Logitech G535 Lightspeed’s audio is crisp and clear, with a more neutral sound profile that means all frequencies are well represented.

There’s a little bit of room in the earcups; but overall, the G535 Lightspeed is a supremely comfortable headset. We also experienced issues getting our unit to reach 100dB, which we don't experience with other Logitech headphones. Unfortunately, although they don't weigh too much, they have a bulky design that can't fold or swivel to reduce their footprint. It's not the greatest spatial audio option, and you can use something like Dolby Atmos for Headphones - but you'll need a separate license. The black-coated plastic is subtle, and the lack of flashy RGB lights is actually something that I appreciate.

Sound is perceived as coming from speakers placed in the room around you rather than from inside your head. The G535 don’t offer much in terms of bass-boosting or excessive rumbling, which some may miss, but for these first-person shooters, the bass is just fine.
