The first thing we must do to step into the courts of heaven is to get off the battlefield. We have to recognize the need for legal precedents to be set before we run to the battle. We are in a conflict, but it is a legal one. Remember that Jesus never pictures prayer in the battlefield context. He did put prayer however in a courtroom or judicial setting in Luke 18:1-8. (1) 2. Stand on Christ’s Finished Work: However, our spiritual authority is not unlimited; there are spiritual laws that limit our authority. For example, we cannot pray for someone to be healed if they do not have faith ( Matthew 9:29& Matthew 5:34). Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6 NIV God had to set up courts in heaven so we can appeal for the forgiveness of our ongoing sins which the Lord Jesus paid for on the cross of Calvary two-thousand years ago!

Courts of Heaven for Beginners 12 Steps to Winning in the Courts of Heaven for Beginners

I write this because I spent many years subscribing to similar types of teachings and systems to try and twist God’s arm to act on my behalf. These do not reflect the exceptionally Good News of what Jesus achieved. For the record, I also enjoy the prophetic and the things of the Spirit. So let me get straight into it. When you step into these three dimensions you are not approaching God with a prayer list. You are stepping into a spiritual sphere where you and God begin to move things in the spirt that shifts things in the earth.”—Robert HendersonThey bring clarity to the fact that, as Believers, we have access to this place in the spiritual realm. We have been granted the right to boldly approach Him, because of the blood of Jesus. We can then petition and become intercessors. Even if I indulge the argument further and say that sin does open a ‘door’, the devil still has no legal rights to access. It would be like us leaving the front door of our house open. Just because I have accidentally left it open, it doesn’t mean a thief has a ‘legal’ right to go in. The thief is there illegally and has to get out.

I understand that sometimes this teaching can be difficult to understand. Doug goes into further detail about the Courts of Heaven and how they are mentioned in the Word in his webinar Understanding the Courts of Heaven Part 1. This is a webinar that helps simplify the Courts of Heaven to understand more easily. After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!” Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit (John 19:28-30). I’m having such a hard time with this one of heard about it for years but I’ve really had a hard time with it. Jesus said you present your petitions to the father in my name knowing that you have what you vast and it shall be done. I have several injustices that have been done lately and they do need to be handled in their prayers and I have yet to see answered after long Battles Why do we have to fight it out in the courts of heaven I just wish I understood better. Our interactions with the Lord in the Courtroom of Heaven are centered around prayer and intimacy. It is important to approach the Lord with grace and mercy toward others and ourselves. We need to know and have God’s heart of love (1 John 4:8). 4. The Court of Mount Zion In the Old Testament, the term courts is used almost exclusively to refer to the temple (or a part of the temple) where God was enthroned: “Solomon your son is the one who will build my house and my courts, for I have chosen him” (1 Chronicles 28:6). In the Psalms we find “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise” (Psalm 100:4). At the time this was written, “entering God’s courts” referred to walking into the physical temple. When most Christians read this verse today, they may picture entering the spiritual presence of God and imagine this happening in “the courts of heaven,” that is, the spiritual realm where God is enthroned.

I watched till thrones were put in place, and the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, its wheels a burning fire; a fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; ten thousand times ten thousands stood before Him. The court was seated and the books were opened.”After looking into this teaching, it is evident that this teaching turns the Good News into ‘okay’ news. For many, what I am writing won’t be relevant at all because you may not have heard of this teaching. But for others, it will be and possibly be confronting. But I confront to bring freedom. I woke up in tears from that vivid dream. All could literally feel (yes feel!) and hear was that cynical voice. If you have technical difficulties with either microphone or camera, the session will be halted and rescheduled to the first available time on our calendar, giving you time to correct the technical problem. These are usually 2-3 months out. The mission of The One New Man Network is to be a bridge of unity and restoration between Israel and the Church, releasing God’s fullness throughout the earth. Statement of Faith What We Believe… I say it again Mr. Henderson is not an Apostle and his Courts of Heaven teaching is a lie from his imagination!

The Greek word used here is paráklētos, a technical word that could be translated “defense attorney.” It means “one called to stand next to you as a helper.” Various translations have rendered this “Counselor,” “Comforter,” “Advocate,” “Encourager,” “Intercessor,” or “Helper.” However, none of these words alone is adequate and fall short in explaining the full meaning. The translator has chosen the word Savior, for it depicts the role of the Holy Spirit to protect, defend, and save us from our self and our enemies and keep us whole and healed. He is the One who guides and defends, comforts and consoles. Keep in mind that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ, our Savior. The Aramaic word is paraqleta, which is taken from two root words: (1) praq, “to end, finish, or to save,” and (2) lyta, which means “the curse.” What a beautiful word picture, the Holy Spirit comes to end the work of the curse (of sin) in our lives and to save us from its every effect! Paraqleta means “a redeemer who ends the curse.” (The Passion Translation — Footnotes)The Devil knows the Bible off by heart and tried to deceive even the Lord Jesus during his forty days and forty nights fast in the desert! The courts of heaven is a real place, i have been there a number of times when i had no idea they even existed.
