For instant in field wader repairs, use the Aquasure® Instant Repair Kit. Apply a patch over tear on outside of wader. Apply Aqusure® to tear on inside of wader and 5 mm beyond the tear. Aquasure SR is a patented, urethane-based adhesive designed for shoe repair and restoration. It rebuilds worn heel and toe areas, reattaches separated soles and creates durable toecaps. Aqua sure SR is safe for use on all types of footwear including boots, athletic shoes, climbing shoes, rollerblades and more. As an Aquasure adhesive it offers excellent adhesion, superior waterproofing and long lasting flexibility with minimal shrinkage. However, it is specifically formulated for footwear offering excellent abrasion resistance, protecting your shoe from scuffs and scratches. PREP: Clean seams on used material with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol or McNett Cotol-240™plus Cleaner & Cure Accelerator. Apply just enough Seam Grip to cover the hole and spread ca. 6 mm beyond. Use Aquasure® for repairing wader seams. Turn waders inside out and examine seams and fabric for gaps. Apply Aquasure® directly to the seam, extending over seam and on to fabric by 6 mm. Use brush to work Aquasure® under fabric folds and into stitching. Allow Aquasure® to cure for 8 to 12 hours.Safe for use on both natural and synthetic fabrics, including GORE-TEX, neoprene, Hypalon, urethane, and rubber. Durable: Tough urethane adhesive bonds permanently to surfaces and dries as a clear rubber that’s weather-resistant Use Aquasure® to repair felt soles. To repair peeling felt soles, clean and dry peeling area. Apply Aquasure® in gap and close. Can also be used to attach new felt soles. Use tape to hold repaired area closed overnight. Remove tape when fully cured. Roughen and clean surfaces with rubbing alcohol. Apply Seam Grip to both surfaces. Allow to dry (cure) 15 minutes, then join (clamp or tape) surfaces together overnight. If a small section has peeled use Seam Grip to re-attach it (fig. 5). If the tape seems to be failing everywhere, remove and discard it, then clean the seams with Cotol-240™plus or isopropyl alcohol and re-seal with Seam Grip.
