The mod has been around for a while, but since the launch of the Cottage Living Expansion pack, it has had major updates that helped introduce a full list of recipes and incorporate fresh new ingredients into the game. DO NOT drag and drop files from inside this folder into other folders/or directly in your mods folder. I personally do not mind that most of the recipes are based on The Sims 4 because I play that version the most while I will pop into The Sims 3 every now and then. Custom recipes are a great way to add depth to your gameplay, whether it’s through more options of meals, cultural foods, or even just a new way for your sim to express what they love!

stars, with half a star deducted because I would have loved it if all the recipes had come with photos; only a few of them did.A lot of other reviewers were sad that this cookbook focused so heavily on Sims 4 dishes, but I personally didn't mind that as I didn't have too many recollections attached to specific dishes from Sims 1 and 2 (I never played 3). I’ve been playing the Sims since the Sims 2 came out (I was 7) and I was so excited to see these recipes IRL. After finishing it, I'm left feeling slightly disappointed; though, I don't think that will be the case for everyone. If you do not delete the files for the items not installed you will have issues with your game such as blue boxes in your crafting menus in-game. I was lucky to be given an advanced copy of this book- and I was delighted, as a long time Simmer and content creator, to see how well done it was.

Like regular in-game meals, these breakfast dishes can be prepared in single-serving, family size, or party size. From flavored drinks to tasty snacks, to filling meals, and luscious desserts, the variety and availability of the dishes in the cookbook is endless.
