Description

Road Pirate differed from the other models in the range in that it was not part of the regular Hot Wheels series. Quite why it was released as a Tattoo Machine is uncertain; perhaps exports to Europe had to be in multiples of 13. Like the previous model, Dragon Wagon was a generic sports car that had its origins in the Cap Blastin’ range from 1990. The orange, purple and blue graffiti is a series of 1990s ‘in’ words and phrases, with comments like ‘chill out’, ‘cowabunga’, ‘bogus’ and ‘awesome’.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. It is painted yellow with a very chunky bare metal base, and covered in quite realistic tiger heads, tiger stripes and cat scratches. love it and the quality is superb cant wait to see my sons reaction when his room is complete he will be mind blown.

Had a great chance to work with great Californian graphic design studio "Lincoln Design" woking on set of vector cars for "Hot Wheels" thanks to Dan Janssen for this great opportunity be part of cool project. It had armoured windows, off-road wheels, machine guns on the front and sides, and a rocket launcher in the rear hatch with moving missiles. Bus Boys was based on Rapid Transit, a Los Angles commuter bus from 1982 which had a plastic body over a metal base and interior. The beautiful, art deco Talbot Lago, probably one of Hot Wheels’ nicest models, which originally appeared in 1988, was given the insult of being changed into Spiderider. Another unlikely tattoo design, it was painted dark blue with a series of coloured lightning bolts all over.

Ammo was based on Sting Rod, a weird military vehicle from 1988 that appeared to be a sports car converted into an assault machine. Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places. It’s based on a 1978 Ford custom van known as Baja Breaker, and is finished in yellow shading to brown. The bumper and front laser guns were in red plastic, the base was bare metal, while the windows, rear engine and exhaust pipers were in chromed plastic.
