The frequency response of the audio section of the NANO806 is a bit disappointing. The low-frequency cut goes at 150 Hz, which is an unsatisfactory figure. That is, the bass of this TV is not enough to reproduce the rumble or explosions. And in music, the sound turns out to be flat and emasculated. But above the cutoff point, the frequency response is decent and relatively well balanced. With its focus on design, the G1 can be mounted flush to a wall or sat on the optional Gallery Stand. It does not come with a stand, and there has been no word on whether it will have an accompanying soundbar like the GX did. LG's own dynamic range technology, HDR 10 Pro, adjusts brightness to enhance color, reveal every tiny detail, and bring lifelike clarity to every image - it also intensifies regular HDR content. These sets are likely to use IPS panels still, and we don’t know quite how effective a massively increased number of dimming zones will be at improving this panel technology’s limited contrast.
