With a little preparation and some simple steps, you can enjoy better control and performance like the pros. The debounce time refers to how long the keyboard waits before sending another signal. Mechanical keyboards typically have a debounce time of 10ms, but your able to drop it down to 5ms if you choose to do so.You can use the spudger or knife on its own without using the hairdryer, especially if you're unsure of how long to heat the feet up by. This may leave traces of glue on the bottom of the mouse however, which will need to be removed before attaching the new mouse feet. Once you have removed all the old skates from the base your mouse, give the surface a clean by using rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl). This will remove any excess adhesive that may still be present. Leave the mouse to dry, and then it's time to apply the new ones. I really want to love this keyboard but I just don't. Gave it a week or two of use before I swapped it out for another board. Cherry MX switches are known for their long lifespan and the tons of rigorous testing they go through.

Plastic cases don’t offer as much durability as an aluminum option and from my experience with the One 2 SF – it feels a bit creaky when you twist it. This is a killer first mechanical keyboard. Coming in a high-quality PBT double-shot plastic design, these are longer-lasting than the usual keycaps that you’ll find on your old crusty Dell keyboard. Anyways, gaming via a wireless connection is not always recommended, especially in competitive online games.This method involves using the hairdryer to heat up the glue underneath the mouse feet. Once the glue has been heated long enough, use a spudger (a flat plastic tool with a sharp end) or a knife to scrape underneath the feet to peel them off — be careful if using a knife! Also the brown switches have been a game changer. Comparing Razer's blue to these Cherry MX Browns: they aren't loud at all, but just as rewarding. There is a solid thud with each stroke and just enough actuation that I still know how hard to strike to maintain a really fast cadence and with the quieter sound I can use it all hours of the day even when my kid is sleeping in the room next to me. The extra keycaps made my mind jump with the possibility of a customized design. Being able to configure the keyboard to your own preferences is awesome. Being able to easily swap out the switches with no soldering required is great for those who want to test different switch options and find the perfect feel. The stylized spacebar ties the entire design together and looks even better once you turn the RGB lighting on.

Finally, once the grip tape is properly applied, use a sharp hobby knife or scissors to trim any excess grip tape from around the edges of your mouse. Trimming the edges gives your mouse a clean and finished look. If you want to roll your sleeves up a bit, you can consider lubing the stabilizers to reduce the friction and rattle. The blue accent keycaps let you put the finishing touch on the design – making for one of the coolest looking prebuilt keyboards on the market.
