I finally finished this book (although is finishing a book only like a week after it's released actually slow? anyway)

Apollo then faints and has a dream about Caligula and Commodus discussing their plan to either take Camp Jupiter without conflict or destroy it using Greek fire from Caligula's yachts. Apollo wakes up in a bed and Meg explains that he has been asleep for a day and a half. There is a funeral for Jason that night, and Lupa shows up to tell Apollo to get divine help to defeat their enemies. Apollo and Frank go to Ella the harpy and Tyson the cyclops, who are recreating the Sibylline Books. They get a prophecy regarding Tarquin's tomb. They go to the camp senate, where he, Meg, Lavinia, and Hazel are selected to go on a mission to find out more about Tarquin, the final king of Rome, who has returned. They discover that Tarquin has kept a "soundless god" at Sutro Tower. After they return, they realize that to solve the communication issues and get divine help, they need to destroy the soundless god. A quest is issued for Apollo, Meg, and Reyna to go to Sutro Tower.Inside the camp, they find the son of Hades, Nico, and Apollo’s healer son, Will. Nico guesses that Jason is dead before Apollo passes out. He has a vision of Nero in his throne room proclaiming that he will give Camp Half-Blood 48 hours before burning New York to the ground. Apollo then sees Python who says Apollo will finish Python’s mission himself. Apollo wakes up and goes to the dining hall with more of his children. There, Will tells him that Ncio felt Jason’s death and Apollo knows Nico is slowly losing his sanity after traversing the Underworld so many times. Apollo goes to the throne room where Zeus says that the Oracles have been restored and the Fates can continue spinning the future. Hera chastises Zeus for not caring about Jason’s death and the gods commend Apollo before leaving. Zeus tells Apollo he has made him proud, but Apollo vows to spend as little time as possible around his father. He leaves, visiting his horses at the sun palace before splitting himself into multiple pieces to visit everyone at once.

Line 10 is a line that is given from Python. It is most likely that he changed the meaning to ensure victory. Apollo would die trying to erase him from existence. I really loved how this series ended. It's so nostalgic and gives so much more to the universe. Apollo had some hard trials all right, but it ultimately changed him for the rest of his to-be-determined life. I really hope we'll see him again in upcoming books. (Because there will be upcoming books, mark my words).

When he’d told me to remember being human, he’d meant building on pain and tragedy, overcoming it, learning from it […] To be human is to move forward, to adapt, to believe in your ability to make things better. That is the only way to make the pain and sacrifice mean something.” Apollo receives his old godly bow as a gift from Camp Jupiter, Meg receives seeds, and they set off to New York after receiving the final prophecy from Ella and Tyson; they realize it is in terza rima form and they have to find more stanzas in the east. They go in hopes of being reunited with their friends from Camp Half-Blood. [13] The Tower Of Nero [ edit ]

The Tower of Nero is the fifth and final book of The Trials of Apollo. It was released on October 6, 2020. Nero says this was revenge for preventing him from burning down the city and that Apollo has done him a favor by getting all the campers in the building. He tells Apollo that him, Meg, and few others would be safe from death in the throne room. He tells him that Python is waiting for his corpse and that he would strike him a deal. He gives him 15 minutes to come up to the throne room alone before he releases the gas. He tells him that if he doesn't come he'll release the gas now and kill everyone inside. With that Nero turns off the call and Apollo turns to Screech-Bling. Screech-Bling tells him that the gas is bad and that Rachel was having visions again and told him to go to that room. Screech-Bling tells him that he will gather some other trogs and try to disable the gas before it goes off and leaves the room to do this task. Apollo realizes how bleak things are when he remembers he can't kill Nero unless Lu had succeeded However, he doesn't have much of a choice since he needs to stall Nero and find Meg. He had fifteen minutes to end Nero or Nero would end him. Book Genre: Adventure, Childrens, Fantasy, Fiction, Greek Mythology, LGBT, Middle Grade, Mythology, Urban Fantasy, Young AdultDionysus mentions Chiron is away discussion other end of the world related events with a cat and severed head. This mostly refers to Bast and Mimir respectively as Chiron states that the problems threaten more than one pantheon of gods. Apollo comments on the existence of Celtic Gods in the second chapter. Luguselwa later mentions that most of the Celtic gods died a long time ago. Zeus/ Jupiter | Hera/ Juno | Poseidon/ Neptune | Demeter/ Ceres | Ares/ Mars | Athena/ Minerva | Apollo/ Apollo (Roman) | Artemis/ Diana | Hephaestus/ Vulcan | Aphrodite/ Venus | Hermes/ Mercury | Dionysus/ Bacchus | Hades/ Pluto Of course, there’s nothing wrong with that other than the destruction of my emotions, so I’m not complaining about the pacing. I’m just pointing out that it was very different and it took me by surprise. I couldn't stop myself after I started reading. And that was an issue because I had homework to do and I wasn’t doing it. I've had so much fun seeing Apollo grow and become this brave person that I feel like I'll be very proud and sad no matter the ending of this book. It has been a great journey so far and though I still don't like Meg I can't say that I won't miss a little bit... or, at least, her interactions with Apollo.
