It follows the story of Bob, an ordinary man with the extra-ordinary job of keeping the moon clean and entertaining moon tourists. Simon Bartram says, "I wrote the book after I read reports in the newspaper that soon civilians would be taking trips to the moon.Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH).

When Bob addresses human tourists, who wear bubble-shaped glass helmets over their ordinary clothes, he denies that aliens exist; observant readers will suspect otherwise.Professor Sickle has created a cloning machine so that every space station in the galaxy can have its own super-efficien. Each day, a lanky bachelor named Bob leaves his red-brick townhouse and bicycles to a hilltop launch pad. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. Tonight, we bring our space-themed celebration of the Apollo 11 moon landings to an end with a glimpse into a potential future for the moon – Man on the Moon (a day in the life of Bob) by Simon Bartram. Find out what he does on the moon: cleaning and tidying, welcoming vistors, performing tricks for tourists and much more.

Your words, like your reviews, bring books to life and give them a voice before the front cover is even turned. Tripping lightly across the planet's golden surface, Bob vacuums space junk out of craters ("Quite often astronauts drop candy wrappers and cans") and enjoys a club sandwich with the Man on Mars and the Man on Saturn. Every year, Queen Battleaxe picks one unlucky astronaut to host her birthday party and now Bob has the horrible honour.

His day ends with final checks, turning on of the moon’s nightlight and a rush-hour rocket ride home! Yourself and Bob are much cherished in our booky world and I personally really appreciate everything that you do. I've managed to get two weeks worth of work out of this one book alone and barely scratched the surface!

This book tells the story of Dougal who can't wait to finish his day at work as the next day his holidays start. Personally, I loved the adult humour - the fact it only takes Bob 15 minutes to get to work on the Moon - and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this to my children; it has become a firm favourite at bedtime.Although at first it doesn't jump out as a 'typical' children's story as the illustrations are of an older style, this is what makes it unique and also what draws the children to it. Absolutely my favourite book to read to children, one of their favourites to listen to (though Daddy insisting on reading it never goes down well. Hmm: who’s that stealing Bob’s cake at his picnic, sneaking onto the space-bus and splashing around in his bath? The illustrations are beautiful and unlike any children's story I have come across before; detailed and realistic, they are wonderful discussion points with your children or school class.
