The banter between Rafe and Penny was literally perfect. The book takes off right where we left. And takes you on a journey that leaves you in a hot-cold bath between amused and laughing your ass of to hot and sweating in the course of seconds. Sinners Consumed is part two of a duet. Rafe & Penny’s story starts in Sinners Condemned, which will be out September 7.

Loved the Rory and Angelo cameos, first couple in the book always feel different regardless of how their book is they’re just the OG so i enjoyed seeing them! And Gabe. GABE! Heard his book is him and Wren and that’s giving major good girl x bad bad bad boy vibes, i don’t know how i am going to act when his book is out i am so EXCITED for him!! I have a soft spot for grumpy, big boy and scars!!! I realized very on that I’m very much someone who is too soft to read dark romances, even mafia romances in general. That genre is something that I don’t gravitate towards. However, I will admit that seeing one quote on the internet can make me buy a book within seconds. And that’s exactly that happened to me with Sinners Consumed. I originally started reading this series in November and although I enjoyed the first book --- Sinners Anonymous, I was extremely excited for Sinners Condemned, since that was the couple that everyone enjoyed the most. The hype for Sinners Consumed was well deserved. And since last year I have read this book three times. Somme’s writing is engaging, detailed and so, so funny. I cannot wait for the next book. ♡ If you haven’t read this series, this is your sign!!!

I'm absolutely in love with this book, if you're a fan of The Maddest Obsession by Danielle Lori, I think you are going to enjoy this. I love the Visconti family dynamic and I hope I'll get to read more of the other brothers' stories. I have to say I love every scene Angelo and Rory (main couple of book 1) make an appearance in because it's so satisfying to see Angelo being an absolute simp for his wife.I thought Rafe had already won me over but man did I fall in love with him even harder when he built an IKEA bookcase from scratch and bought an entire collection of For Dummies books because he knew Penny read them. What a man. He’s so childish. So juvenile. Soooo boring. All he’s got going for him, is his money. I can see why the heroine has to be 21.

He let her use all his money just so she would forgive him but she didn’t care about that because she only wanted him to prove her that he truly loves her!!What i really like about those books is the tension. They haven’t done the deed yet it’s so spicy? The tension is spicy? Imagine then the smut? I will lose my mind!! And Penelope.. girl is so hot she is everything i want to be. The confidence, the sass and thank god she isn’t the “ i am not like other girls” despite her being really such a different FMC to read about. Rafe and Penny are the epitome of “I hate you but I love you and can’t imagine life without you.” This was honestly everything I wanted and more (except an epilogue. I wanted an epilogue, Somme). The friendships between all the girls, Rory, Penny, Wren, Tayce - LOVE. I want to desperately be a part of that friend group!! We also get to see more of Rory and Angelo and they have gotten even cuter since book 1. I should have known she was trouble when smoke and sin followed her into my bar and she challenged me to a game.The banter between Penny and Rafael was so swoony and I laughed so hard at times, the spice is chef's kiss and I adore the fact that it's was kind of slow-burn. He cooked breakfast for her, massaged her for hours, learned how to make a braid because she doesn't know how to, started drinking vodka instead of his favorite whiskey because she doesn't like the taste of whiskey, randomly called her cutie, adorable, and lastly, whenever she asked him the reason for doing all of this, he simply told her, "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" 😭💕 Penny still is the badass lead I love to read about it and I’m sure we all fell in love with in the first book. She continues to amaze me with her sassy lines and jokes and unwillingness to let anything drag her down.
