Another hot button issue for me is this: does every character in the Outlander series have to get raped at some point? There is a new addition to the list of Lord John, Jamie, Claire, and Fergus. I mean, enough already with the sexual abuse! I am sure even 200 years ago not everyone was assaulted, right? ABL, I love the scenes where Roger and Jamie are holding Jemmy, too, which is why I included the description of Jamie looking and Jemmy's fuzzy head. I can just imagine the love on his face as he looks upon his grandson. It brings tears to my eyes! BEES was released concurrently in editions for other countries including Canada, the U.K., and Germany (German-language edition, translated by Barbara Schnell). I will have to wait with the next one though, as I have to write two seminar papers (I have no idea how to even start, god, writing papers is so hard) but I suppose in a week or so I should be able to start with Fiery Cross.Since this is the last chapter in the book, do any of you have things in the book that you would like to discuss that may not have been mentioned? This book is so rich with history, family, heartbreak, reunions, rescue, forgiveness...and the list goes on! It is rare to connect with a work of fiction so intensely.
