I cant see if the coordinator is sending permit joining then the sniff is not having one network key transaction and all Zigbee frames is not encrypted. At least one Ethernet cable for connecting the Raspberry Pi to Internet. The WSTKs also support debug and flashing over IP so, optionally, additional Ethernet cables can be used to connect the WSTK to your host system via an Ethernet Switch. FYI, Home Assistant can already detect a few different Zigbee USB radio adapters, including the CC2652P-based Sonoff ZBDongle-P USB dongle from ITead, and it now looks like Home Assistant will soon support also be able to automatically do USB discovery for this new [ITead’s “Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus V2” model “ZBDongle-E” based on Silicon Labs EFR32MG21, at least if they merge: agners silabs-flasher - Silicon Labs Firmware flashing utility (multi platform Python based command line tool) I have not received mine yet but got a reply from ITead now that the USB “ product description id” written to the EEPROM of the CH9102F USB-to-UART/serial chip on this new ZBDongle-E dongle is “ SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus V2”, hopefully that added “ V2” in combination with the rest ill allow for unique identification which can enable ZHA developers to add automatic discovery?

Most definitely between Microcontroller Unit hardware specification (at least MCU performance and SoC radio capability) + antenna design and implementation, as well as possibility or not to change antenna position/orientation. But again, unless have many Zigbee 3.0 devices (which require more flash storage) it is usually most important to just make sure have many good Zigbee router devices in your Zigbee mesh network to allow more devices plus extend network range and coverage. Also, I can personally recommend using a few of their USB adapters flashed as Zigbee Routers too. Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus - ZBDongle-E variant Connect each Wireless Starter Kit main board to the host computer by USB as shown in the image below. These connections will permit programming and network analysis of the RCP and end devices. We will first use the host computer to program the BRD4166A with the ot-rcp firmware and eventually connect it to the Raspberry Pi. Optionally, end devices may be connected to the host computer via a common Ethernet switch. The starter kits also support programming and network analysis over IPv4. I was hoping this would be a bit more straight forward. But this really doesn't make the USB adapter a very "accessible" USB attached EFR32MG21 adapter for zigpy...Debug 2022-08-31 08:20:29Received Zigbee message from '0x00158d000894fa97', type 'attributeReport', cluster 'genBasic', data '{"65281":{"1":3055,"10":0,"100":0,"11":187,"3":25,"4":424,"5":62,"6":[0,0]}}' from endpoint 1 with groupID 0 Other than many bug-fixes the newer firmware offer +9dBm transmission power instead (instead of +5dBm transmission power) as well as the possibility to configure up to +20dBm transmission power via software settings in ZHA integration and Zigbee2MQTT respectively. Important: The IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM (IAR EWARM) Compiler is currently not supported with OpenThread. Info 2022-08-31 08:20:39MQTT publish: topic 'zigbee2mqttwin/0x00158d000894fa97', payload '{"battery":100,"device_temperature":25,"illuminance":94,"illuminance_lux":94,"linkquality":200,"occupancy":true,"power_outage_count":61,"voltage":3055}'

However, if your devices as really far away in secluded/isolated areas with no reception to a single network might not be a good option, instead you might be better of adding a second Zigbee Coordinator connected to a separate secondary Home Assistant ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT instance at that location and then share the device to your primary Home Assistant instance over a wired LAN (local area network) via either HomeKit or MQTT message protocols. Debug 2022-08-31 08:20:29lumi.sensor_motion.aq2: Processed data into payload {"voltage":3055,"battery":100,"device_temperature":25,"power_outage_count":61,"illuminance":187,"illuminance_lux":187} I understand ITead went with CC2652P instead of Silicon Labs EFR32MG21 for this “Plus” dongle version because of the current silicon chip shortage (which Silabs parts suffered for more than most). This new “ ZBDongle-E” adapter uses a WCH CH9102F USB-to-UART bridge (USB-to-serial converter) chip so if using Windows OS or Mac OS then need to install CH9102/CH343 device drivers from WCH → http://www.wch-ic.com/products/CH9102.html SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus V2 (first need to run update script if from first hardware batch shipped)Home Assistant has “ZHA Device Handlers” and Zigbee2MQTT has “zigbee-herdsman-converters” which have similar concepts of converting non-compliant device attributes to follow Zigbee standards. Available real-world products are example the different Tuya Zigbee Smart RGB and RGBCW LED Controller for 5V-24V Light Strips Also, from a chip perspective, I would like to be ready for Matter / Thread. The E version inspires more confidence in that regard, but I have nothing solid to prefer SI over TI.

PS: Chances would have otherwise been that it was not a custom radio module made specifically made for or by GL Technologies then it could instead have been a mass-manufactured module made by any one of a number of other companies, like example; Tuya, Ebyte, RF-star, just to name a few companies that make and sell radio modules for others:Precompiled demo application images provided with the OpenThread SDK are compatible with the following boards: Hopefully, we will also see ITead release a new redesigned/revised variant of their cheaper Zigbee 3.0 USB dongle (Silabs EFR32MG21 based adapter) with good RF shielding and corrected PCB antenna design or better yet a high-quality ceramic chip antenna with properly tuned components for the antenna used. sysctl "net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=0 net.ipv4.conf.all.forwarding=1 net.ipv6.conf.all.forwarding=1" \ Projects: (Recommended) Create, build and flash a sample application. This option allows you to customize the application in the project.OR EFR32MG21 devices bring high performance, low power and secure solutions to the IoT. Designed to increase processing capability, improve RF performance and lower active current, EFR32MG21 devices are 2.4 GHz wireless SoCs optimized for line-powered Zigbee, Thread and Bluetooth mesh applications, including connected lighting, gateways, voice assistants and smart metering.
