For the first time in my life and for 3 month I've been feeling hopeless and that life is just pointless. I tried so hard to get out from this state of mind but I couldnt. I I have been going to the gym and trying new things. I even went for a long distance solo hiking for two weeks to clear my mind and improve my mood.. nothing worked tho.. the problems in my life are still there and I cant solve them, and Im tired of waiting.. I dont see any escape. Its so unfair since I have no hand in the problems I have Life comes with a never-ending supply of parties, coffee meetups, meetings, phone conversations, dinner dates, conferences, press trips and every other imagined opportunity demanding our presence.

Obviously there is a disclaimer here: plant medicine is best taken with an experienced shaman or healer and you should seek professional advice if you suffer from mental illness (and abide by local laws, etc. etc.). Studies have proven that the human being cannot function optimally if it does not get adequate rest. Burning the candle at both ends is not going to help you progress forward. You might think you are being productive but the quality of your work will suffer — not to mention the dark circles that will develop under your eyes. You would be amazed how lonely people can be, even in a big city. Perhaps most people would think to confide in their family but you would be amazed how many people I see who haven't even spoken to their partners or family about their troubles. Here’s the thing, people are not static beings. As human beings, we are forever changing, evolving, and transforming. Weeks go by, and you realize you haven’t had meaningful conversations with anyone. You feel isolated and begin to withdraw further.

Why? Usually, we fill our lives with pointless or excessive commitments because we’re trying to escape from something, whether that is our pain, our insecurities, our past, our traumas, or some kind of buried emotion that haunts us like grief, emptiness, or anger. Answer: Allow yourself a moment to pause and breathe. Engage in an activity that usually brings you comfort or joy, even if it’s just for a few minutes. Break down your evening into small, manageable tasks, and congratulate yourself for each one you manage to complete. Remember that it’s okay to have bad days. On one hand we’re encouraged to be “proactive” about our lives, but on the other hand, this “proactivity” is a disguised form of passivity which is all about following the crowd and doing what everyone else does. Is it really any wonder that so many of us struggle with feeling trapped? Unless we have the wisdom to see through the futile and unfulfilling pursuits of society from a young age, we end up following the herd and letting others dictate our lives. It can be hard at times to see a way to get things to change for the better, but it doesn’t have to be something that you need to do alone.Just make sure that whatever you embrace and what path you follow doesn’t thrive on hurting other people. That won’t lead you where you want to be. Instead, it’ll just make things worse and harder for you. 5. Seek out therapy from someone that isn’t sheltered. Here’s that link again if you’d like to learn more about the service BetterHelp.com provide and the process of getting started.

And by wrong, we don’t necessarily mean wrong in a societal, religious, or cultural sense. Instead, we mean acting wrong, as in being out of tune with how you want to act, what you believe, and what you feel is right.Above all, it is an agenda for an effective parliamentary opposition – combining a campaign to stay in the EU with a campaign to change Britain. The life expectancy numbers tell a dramatic story. It is time to act on their message. A vacation can help give you the perspective that you need to make a change, especially if you go somewhere new and interesting. 23. Be a brave fighter. Philosophy Tube has a fantastic discussion of Shit Life Syndrome in a video on The Philosophy Of Suicide, which should come with the relevant trigger warnings for both suicide and self-harm, but also talks intelligently about the reality that sometime, people really are put in impossible situations and that even the most extreme reactions to those situations are sometimes justified.
