The scent profile this fragrance goes for is a high end modern Bay Rum fragrance (pretty unique in that regards) that’s pretty reachable in the colder months. It seems familiar to me, so maybe I've smelt it on workmates or something, but I wonder whether the sense of familiarity isn't just due to the fact that to me it just smells like a solid, unexceptional scent somewhere in the (admittedly heady) woody oriental area. For me, this fragrance started off as a boozy blast from the first spray, personally way too strong for my liking, but then dried down into a beautifully sweet, syrupy, glowing scent, as the (at first) overpowering rum note slowly fades down and compliments the glowing, leathery undertones. Incense, Leather, Benzoin, Patchouli, and Cedar come together in a harmonious symphony that's like a grand finale at a long-lost opera. Overall: Well above average performance, this scent has grown on me and my appreciation continues to develop the longer I have this in my collection.

A good way i test this is by spraying a fragrance in my room, leave for a few minutes and come back to see if i can smell it as soon as i enter the room and with Bentley For Men Intense i do not get this. I'm absolutely in love with this stuff, it is a fantastic reminder that men aren't supposed to smell like cake and cookies.Bentley Intense is boozy in a whiskeyish sense, but largely supported with leathery and woody aspects.
