About this deal

The arrangement of the Sundays of Epiphany in the Revised Common Lectionary deliberately draws out these aspects. In this case, ‘The New Creation is Revealed in the Water made Wine’ may be more appropriately used after the Renewal of the Covenant. 4 Movement This provision is always used from the day after the Presentation of Christ in the Temple until the first of the Sundays before Lent. Collect If the procession takes place earlier in the service, the congregation assembles in a convenient place. Candles are distributed before the procession, which may take place at the beginning or before the reading of the Gospel.
