Previously, we have had to close the MIU early at short notice on several occasions. This caused difficulties for patients who turned up expecting to be seen only to have to go to Morriston Hospital instead. I have noticed that I tend to not like thrillers that have characters with mental illness cause I’ve always thought it seems like a cop out or lazy red herring by the author just to throw readers off and keep them guessing. 🤷‍♀️ I don’t recommend this book because it is unable to offer you the courtesy of a decent representation on a certain important matter. Nevertheless, this is recommendable if you’re in it purely for the fiction & the Mad Hatter-ness. Especially, for those who enjoy medical or escape room type mystery. 🙌

It is now available from 8am until 9pm, seven days a week, for a period of nine months, rather than the previous times of 7.30am-11pm. Will Amy survive the night? Medical student Amy is doing a night shift at Ward D, a psychiatric ward in Long Island. Amy is anxious and on edge the whole night and rightfully so when people go missing and weird things are happening. Following on from the success of the original Ward-D-Vision and 700, we have introduced this new improved longer range series which has the benefit of an upgraded 800x600 display with variable brightness for the highest resolution image from a digital night vision add on system yet.We have also upgraded the housing to a 4 jaw clamp arrangement with multi position clamp so there are no issues with clearance between the night vision unit and the rifle's bolt. I'm generally a Freida fan, but oh my goodness this one was a giant disaster (I guess in my seemingly unpopular opinion based on Goodreads and bookstagram). I sat on this review for over a week because I didn't want to jump to any harsh conclusions because I honestly do enjoy Frieda's other work, but I can't get over the plot and rhetoric in this book.Johnston B.M., Milligan S., Foster C. & Kearney N. I swivel my head to watch the barista making a drink, observing the steps with great fascination. I wonder how they know how to make all those drinks. Do they take some course to learn? Coffee 101?" LMFAOOOOOO this is giving me 1) person just escaped from a cult and is discovering modern day society for the first time and 2) a mom saying "awww that's great sweetie" when their young child shares a picture of an alleged horse that looks more like roadkill.Another big issue I had with the book is how far fetched it was. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good thriller and can suspend disbelief - to a point. The small inaccuracies riddled throughout this story were very hard to look past. In addition, the pacing felt off with an intense and gripping beginning and end, but a middle section that felt long and repetitive. On average, five patients a day attended the MIU between 9pm and 11pm. Closing temporarily at 9pm allows us to provide a sustainable service, with the least impact on patients.
