The Bionda Lager is matured gently at the perfect temperature found in the cave cellars, this gives the beer superior clarity of taste. The Bionda has an alcohol content of 4.8%, which is a good percentage for light drinking. Are you a fan of Peroni Nastro Azzurro and looking to explore similar flavors? You’re in the right place! Just like a world of diverse cuisines, there’s a variety of beers similar to Peroni waiting to be discovered. Before we look at these beers that are like Peroni, we must first establish what Peroni is like. Aroma of malt, caramel, liquorice: it is a quite aromatic beer (considering that it is an industrial one).

Menabrea is an old and timely brand of beer that is produced by Menabrea in Biella, Piedmont, with the brewery found in its historic headquarters. Menabrea is an Italian lager with over 150 years of brewing history. It has a light golden color similar to Peroni and offers a crisp, balanced taste with a slight hoppy bitterness. Both being Italian lagers, Menabrea and Peroni share a natural heritage and general crispness, but Menabrea offers a bit more complexity in terms of hops and bitterness. Peroni Gran Riserva Taste is not at the same level of the aroma, even if caramel prevails, with light traces of cherry; alcohol and bitter arise at a second stage, with a slightly metallic aftertaste.

The Ambrata is a 5.0% alcohol content beer, and it is a full-bodied, well-rounded amber beer. It has a moderately bitter flavor that makes it refreshing and enjoyable.

M. Hoppier than I was expecting from an Italian beer. Quite fresh/refreshing as it's well hopped and isn't 'rich' as such. It’s important to note that the beer making industries in Europe sometimes become a game of monopoly. While the beer is dark and rich, it does feature very delicate flavors that complement the delicate bitterness, which is achieved by toasting of the malts. This bitterness is balanced well with a slightly sweet edge in the finish, and a mix of milky sweetness and roasted coffee hints Kronenbourg 1664 is a French pale lager that is light golden in color. It offers a balance of a somewhat sweet, malty profile with a pleasant bitterness. Similar to Peroni, it’s a pale lager with a crisp finish. However, Kronenbourg tends to lean towards a slightly sweeter, maltier taste compared to Peroni’s cleaner profile. Birra Moretti Lambrate Ghisa is a delicately bitter beer, and it is an easy-drinking beer that still has a rich, dark profile.

The blend has a favorable alcohol content of 5.1%, which helped boost the beer’s popularity upon release. Heineken is a Dutch lager that’s globally recognized for its bright golden hue and slightly skunky aroma. Like Peroni, Heineken is a pale lager with a crisp finish, catering to a broad range of tastes. However, Heineken has a more pronounced bitterness and a characteristic skunky aroma that sets it apart from the cleaner finish of Peroni. Kronenbourg 1664Brewers in Italy also make use of their appreciation for local ingredients when crafting unique styles. Loverbeer birthed from Marentino relies on local plums to carry the aromatic flavour and style of its craft products. Peroni os brewed in the Italian capital of Rome. It’s made using Saaz hops and malt from Prisma barley. After 8 weeks. The coppery brew is ready to be enjoyed, offering itself as a sweet yet acidic concoction with notes of lingering caramel and toffee. Italy’s long history and love affair with growing grapes for wine may explain the nature of this distinct Italian beer style. The Menabrea brewery produces a range of beers, but the two most popular are the Bionda Lager and the Amber Ambrata.

It is a lager beer in Vienna style, with an amber and cruby colour (almost dark honey), which shows a head of foam not too persistent and small grain. Angelo Poretti Brewery is an Italian brewery that belongs to Carlsberg, a Danish group. However, Angelo Poretti beers still stay true to the Italian-beer style and feature some incredible ingredients and unique recipes to make them stand-out Italian beers.San Miguel is a pale lager originally from the Philippines but also brewed in Spain. It has a crisp and light body similar to Peroni. Both beers are refreshing and suitable for a wide range of occasions. San Miguel, however, tends to be a bit lighter in both flavor and alcohol content compared to Peroni. Pilsner Urquell Birra Moretti is another Italian lager that comes close to Peroni in terms of its roots and general flavor profile. It has a light, golden color and a malty, grainy flavor. The similarities with Peroni are evident in its origin and the lager style, but Birra Moretti generally has a more malty and grainy profile that offers a richer experience. Menabrea The most common food pairing on thislist is beer and pizza, but the key is finding the right beer to complement each type of pizza. Brown ales and lagers go well with pineapple and bacon pizza because the bacon’s saltiness contrasts with the brown ale’s caramel undertones. Alternatively, the sweetness of the pineapple and the lager’s malt aromas go very well together. T. Toasty, them somewhat bitter/sour, and slowly through a long dry finish. The bitter/sour middle was something of a surprise but after a few swigs I'm getting a bit more used to it.
