Since I moved to London, I've gotten used to things being just a bit different: Sure, there's the whole accent thing and the driving on the other side of the road and the insertion of u's where they hadn't been before, but I mean the much more subtle differences "“ like Waldo. So where is worth a visit? What is there to see and do? And, are there any places you really mustn’t miss as you meander your way along the coastal road of North Norfolk? Starting at Overstrand and driving west towards Hunstanton on the A149 you will definitely come across some gems and places worth stretching your legs in. Overstrand

As for your question of where to go on the way up, that’s a real tough one. Suffolk and Cornwall/Devon are so different. You did say you hated crowds though and Cornwall is soo busy right now, it’s where EVERY family and their dog will be heading in August (ourselves included!) august 15-31st are our school summer holidays. But it’s busy because it definitely has the prettiest beaches. It is possible to find quiet areas in Cornwall but you have to be stealthy! The best chances of that are on the south coast of both devon and Cornwall as there are quite a few beaches where you have to park and walk to, so you can imagine they attract less people. I think for a 14 year old the option of Cornwall definitely would be more appealing because of the surfing opportunities. Whyte, Alexandra (5 April 2018). The Wally Watchers are Wally's devoted fan-club. There are lots of them (25 appear in most books, though there are 99 of them in the Ultimate Fun Book), and they turn up wherever Wally goes. They first appeared in The Ultimate Fun Book. Denise Petski (26 April 2019). The Fantastic Journey (2009) ( PC, Mac, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch)

A self-drawing of Martin Handford with (left to right) Wizard Whitebeard, Woof, Odlaw, Wenda, and Wally. Wizard Whitebeard, first seen in The Fantastic Journey. His signature is his exceptionally long beard, which is often the key to finding him. In his first appearance, he was responsible for sending Wally on a quest to discover the truth about himself, and he has tagged along on Wally's travels ever since. The Wally Watchers are Wally's devoted fan-club that first appeared in Where's Wally? The Ultimate Fun Book (1990). They turn up wherever Wally goes, dressed in the same red-and-white striped outfit. While 25 appear in most books, there are in comparison, 99 of them in the Ultimate Fun Book.

In the book, Wally travels to everyday places, where he sends postcards to the reader (which are the pictures in the book), and the reader must locate Wally in the postcard. Suffolk is more quaint than beautiful, the beaches themselves are mostly pebble beaches, still cute but less beautiful. But if you’re planning to look around towns and countryside and interesting history stuff then yes, Suffolk might be a better option for you – it would definitely be quieter. And people don’t realise it but the local food is sooo good. The seafood is good in Cornwall and devon but Suffolk does much more than seafood. Where's Wally? The Fantastic Journey (US title: The Great Waldo Search, renamed Where's Waldo? The Fantastic Journey later) (1989) On again I’ve divided the scene into 4 smaller sections so you can better see where the Waldo Watchers are hiding. But not only has this international man of mystery gotten lost in scenes across the world, but so has his original identity. Continuing the pattern started with its introduction to the US, Wally got a new name and it seems, a new attitude with every country he was introduced. In some countries, Waldo retained the whimsical "˜w' in his name: For example, in Germany, he's Walter ("Wo ist Walter?") and in Norway, he's Willy ("Der hvor er Willy?"). But in France, he became Charlie ("Ou est Charlie?"), in Denmark, Holger and in Israel, Effi. According to Wikipedia (and therefore not entirely to be believed), American Waldo is a hipper, more "tech-savvy" traveler, while British Wally is a bit of a dork.
