Undeniably, even though he’s only in the first half of the film, most people come to remember the late great R. Every time I think of a certain scene , or watch the film again, and consider the details therein, I realize there’s another thing I missed. Lee Ermey) yell at everyone for the better part of an hour, the actual war shows just how some marines take to the atrocities of war and might be even better than the first half as time goes on. It covers much of the same territory but still manages not to repeat a lot of the content from that track.

The highlights are just as striking with the bright orange fires, and the facial toning of the multi-ethnic cast is lifelike without any color shift. He noted that his new look scared off women, and people would often repeat things to him, thinking that he was mentally challenged.

Overall the image is slightly darker with millions of more pixels and a wider color spectrum without oversaturated frames. Those sound effects during some of the more action-packed moments of the film definitely will give your subwoofer its share of “action” so-to-speak and leave you feeling somewhat immersed.
