A lot of fragrances definitely have a more mature smell about them, but it's hard to tell sometimes if you just have that association built in your mind through the the experiences in your life or they really just represent that sort of archetype.

Overall a nice mass-appealing fragrance, that mashes up a couple of successful recipes, already seen many times before. I own so many fragrances that I rarely reach repeatedly for the same fragrance, but I have been wearing this one all the time. The original Fahrenheit is my all-time favorite fragrance and the closest thing I have to a signature scent, so naturally I was excited for this one, despite knowing in advance that it was quite different. The only fragrance that after you sniff it, the next time you' ll sniff it again you will recognise it immediately hands down.Edit: about 5 hours into it now, and it has dried down to a lovely sweet vanilla, musky scent, still with a hint of that gasoline undertone. Wood and leather scents were combined with violet in a manner that is full of contrast and beguiling. The first thing that I've got to say is that it doesn't smell even a little bit like the original Fahrenheit from 1988. I think this one is fine for fall/winter/early spring, probably need to be cautious with it outdoors in summer high heat.

The fragrance was created by perfumer of the house of Dior, Francois Demachy who accentuates oriental-leathery side of the composition and states: "I did not want to create a caricature of Fahrenheit fragrance which already has an assertive composition. Enough of the early 90’s powerhouse remains in this newer iteration to still make this a nostalgia trip for people who remember and love the original.

There is a sharpness if we bury our noses in it, it's there on my skin, and it could be iso e super--it smells similar to my decant of diluted iso e super. This platform will help us achieve our sustainability goals and connect with other businesses who are passionate about doing the same. The gasoline is still here, but it's sweetened up by rum accord which is similar to the one you'd get in Man in Black, but this one is much more intense and, in my opinion, higher quality. I was expecting a strong leather scent, but the leathery note it's somehow in the backgroud, combined with vanilla and some woods. On my skin, it's a bomb of vanilla and booze with a tiny bit of cumin in the far background giving it a little sharpness.
