This completely depends on you, the buyer's needs, but QLED TVs have certainly earned their excellent reputation. They are definitely an upgrade from LED TVs and offer a reasonably priced alternative to the more expensive OLED TVs. Plus, if it's brightness and sharp colour contrasts you're looking for, then QLED is certainly the clear champion, when it comes to these two factors, they even beat OLED TVs.

Soundbar: A soundbar can improve the sound quality of your television, providing a more immersive experience. Calibration is important for ensuring that the picture and sound settings are optimized for the viewing environment. The Toshiba UF3D has a range of calibration options, including color calibration and gamma calibration. Users can also adjust the white balance and color temperature to ensure the colors are accurate and consistent. Additionally, the television has a built-in calibration tool that can be accessed through the settings menu. Software Updates The Toshiba UF3D has a variety of connectivity options that make it easy to connect to other devices. It has three HDMI ports, which allow users to connect multiple devices, such as gaming consoles or Blu-ray players. It also has a USB port for connecting external devices. Gaming controller: If you plan on using your television for gaming, a gaming controller can provide a more comfortable and enjoyable gaming experience. We recommend using the Low setting of the TV’s motion processing system, as this slightly eases judder without causing unwanted processing side effects or turning films into soap operas. But if you just can’t cope with the idea of using motion processing, the 55QA5D63DB is still pretty easy to watch without it.QLED stands for Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diode and is a display technology that uses quantum dots to create brighter and more vibrant colors. This technology is similar to OLED but is more affordable and provides brighter images. QLED televisions are an excellent option for those who want a high-quality picture without spending much money. Ambient Mode

The two blade-style feet you get with the TV are solid, easy to attach, leave the TV feeling stable, and become almost invisible when you’re watching the TV head-on.Topping out the range is the company’s new QA5D line. Available in 43”, 50”, 55” and 65”, with all models featuring Quantum Dot display tech - a type of display usually found in higher-end TVs, but is now finding its way to more manufacturers and cheaper TVs. The 50UK4D63DB gets off to a strong start by using a native 4K VA panel with direct LED lighting – a combination that usually delivers better contrast than IPS/edge-lit rivals. Though it’s worth saying right away that the VA panel does limit viewing angles. Try not to watch from more than around 30 degrees off axis if you don’t want to see a significant reduction in contrast and colour saturation. The Toshiba UF3D is available in a range of sizes, from 43 to 65 inches, making it suitable for viewing environments. The 50-inch model is popular, providing a large viewing area without being too bulky or expensive. Users can choose the size that best fits their viewing environment and budget. 4K Resolution Also available in 43”, 50”, 55” and 65” variants, but featuring a regular Direct LED panel, the UF3D TV’s all feature Toshiba’s TRU Picture Engine, Dolby Vision, HDR10, Dolby Atmos as well as an Onkyo speaker system. When it comes to OLED vs QLED, there are a lot of discussions over which is better, with both having their advantages and disadvantages. QLED TVs have many perks, such as the fact that they have incredible brightness levels and Quantum Dot technology. QLED is a TV technology that gives you vibrant and lifelike colours, making your viewing experience more enjoyable. It uses tiny particles called quantum dots to produce highly accurate and vibrant colours. QLED TVs have good brightness and contrast, so you get a clear picture even in bright rooms. If you want vivid visuals and a great viewing experience, this is the tech for you. The best QLED TVs at a glance:

Universal remote: A universal remote can control multiple devices, including your television, cable box, and streaming devices, providing a more convenient viewing experience. Future Potential The One Connect Box is a feature available on some Samsung televisions. This box connects to the tv and houses all of the connections, including HDMI and USB ports. This feature allows for a cleaner and more organized setup, as all cables can be hidden away in the box. This feature is ideal for those who want a neat and tidy home entertainment setup. Accessories As Toshiba’s flagship TV for 2022, it includes all three of the Japanese manufacturer’s TRU Picture Engine technologies: TRU Resolution, TRU Micro Dimming and TRU Flow. There’s support for Dolby Atmos, the Dolby Vision HDR format, Chromecast is built in and Google Assistant can be accessed via the remote control. Sound is provided by Onkyo, while the QA5D uses Android TV as its operating system. The picture quality of the Toshiba UF3D is exceptional. The television delivers stunning and lifelike images with its 4K Ultra HD display and HDR technology. The colors are bright and vivid, and the sharp contrast makes even the smallest details visible. The two desktop feet set towards each corner if you’re not wall hanging the TV feature an attractive blade design that means they all but disappear if you’re looking at the TV straight on.Of course, there are some downsides to OLED technology - they're somewhat susceptible to screen burn, with images lingering on the screen if they're left on standby for too long. Is a QLED TV worth it?

The speakers even have the dynamic range and power to keep on growing in step with an escalating action scene – something many TVs costing way more fail to do – and the sound consistently has direct impact, rather than sounding as if it’s all getting swallowed up somewhere behind the screen. The 50UK4D63DB punches above its price with its colour, too, achieving saturation levels we’ve seen TVs costing many times as much fail to achieve. That gives you at least a flavour of the wide colour gamuts that accompany the vast majority of HDR sources. The Smart Fire TV interface is intuitive and easy to use. It provides access to a variety of apps, including music streaming services and news apps. The television also has a variety of other features that enhance the viewing experience, including a dynamic picture mode that adjusts the picture settings based on the content being viewed. Remote Control

The Toshiba UF3D has a wide viewing angle, which ensures that the picture quality remains consistent no matter where you are sitting. This is especially important for larger living spaces where viewers may be seated at different angles. Picture Settings The television also has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, which makes it easy to access streaming services and other online content. It also has Bluetooth connectivity, which allows users to connect to external speakers or headphones. Compatibility You can improve things marginally – and we do mean marginally – by tinkering with the Adaptive Luma and Local Contrast controls. But even with the 55QA5D63DB’s contrast optimised as much as possible, very dark scenes in beloved films are honestly difficult to watch. Potentially undermining these hopes, though, is the 55QA5D63DB’s use of an IPS type of LCD panel rather than a VA one. This means, based on past experience, that it may remain enjoyable to watch from a wider viewing angle than VA rivals, but will likely struggle to deliver serious contrast. Inevitably for a 50-inch TV costing this little, the 50UK4D63DB features a 60Hz panel. This, together with the limited bandwidth of its trio of HDMI ports, denies it any support for today’s 120Hz gaming graphics, at either 4K or HD resolutions.
