CDNI also seems to have a bit of a minty green wet earthy feel underlying the beginning whereas NdN has a slightly drier earthy undertone. I love me some STONKIN patchouli, but not everyone else appreciates my Noir Patchouli (Histoires de Parfums) or Sumatra Patchouli (Jeanne Arthes) or even Patchouli Patch (L'Artisan), for example.

On my left wrist, all I smell is rose still but on my right wrist, the rose finally subsided and it smells amaaazing! It does almost tip into 'pot pourri' territory on my skin, but not quite, and I find it very soothing. Then I found Club De Nuit Intense, read the reviews and was ecstatic to hear it was a clone to Noir de Noir. Never tried Coco Mademoiselle before so no comments there however Club De Nuit is a beautiful, sophisticated bright perfume better suited for daytime in the spring and summer. I’m in my 20s looking for a dark perfume (I heard it smelt vampy), and when I first smelled this, I got flash backs to my mom getting ready to go clubbing.Since it is quite heavy, i mix my Ellie Saab Girl of Now with this and people don't miss to say i smell so good. I look super masc all the time and so I like to wear these souped up feminine fragrances sometimes because it throws people off. The first fragrance I bought was a body mist of Club de Nuit when I heard it was supposedly a close dupe. I did try to wear it a few times but it just vanishes after a couple of hours and it stays too close to the skin so eventually I gave it away. But do not believe my opinion because I am a migraine woman that very sensitive to all kind of strong smell.

I can smell the Rose, the geranium and the Amber which makes it a little sweet, just the right amount of fresh.I bought it in summer and regretted immediately because the only note i could pick on is pungent patchouli. This is definitely more like Chance than Coco Mademoiselle to me although they are of course very similar. The roses in the heart are very similar to the feel of the Chanel and the patchouli/musks in the bass feel more round and earthy. I am happy to send a decant to anybody who has a good bottle and experience with Club Nuit so you can test and compare for me.

This has an average projection and my only gripe is that it doesn't last longer (this fades in about 3/4 hours on me).

Like all great incense forward fragrances, it offers a beautiful airy experience that is just as good smelling up close as it is far away. There’s rose as well which I smell and the musks comes through but is a bit more on the powdery side. I've had it on for an hour and to my nose it's been reminding me of Montale Ristretto Intense cafe, where too I never really got the coffee note but more of a chocolaty patchouli.
