Let’s not talk about the weird Astral sex scene, I literally skimmed through it. The same goes for the rest of the sex scenes in this book I honestly couldn’t bear to read them so I skimmed through them.

This book stressed me. I can't even count the number of times I had to put it down and walk away for a minute because I was scared to read what happened next. Every time I thought I knew where the story was going, a whole other layer of complications and magic and worldbuilding was added to the mix. It was a rollercoaster in every way. there will be something like that right in the middle of a smut scene. like sweetie 😐 that’s 😐 not hot 😐I also need to know if Rhys and Ruhn are related somehow. Maybe Rhys' mom or sister was not really dead? Just sent to another world? Or they are distant cousins? Because they both have an affinity for shadows and they apparently look alike...
