Description

The BoostUp Charge Pro 3-In-1 Wireless Charging Stand With MagSafe is one of the latest MagSafe chargers from Belkin that's compatible with the latest iPhone 14 lineup. The 2nd generation of this popular MagSafe 3-in-1 charging stand, and this time around, it adds fast charging support for the Apple Watch Series 7 and Series 8. The Journey SWIV 3-in-1 reviewed above is a little larger but noticeably lighter, and also can fast-charge the Apple Watch. The Apple Watch extension can be disconnected from the main station and charged via a USB-C port to become a standalone wireless charger when travelling. The Anker 733 offers fast charging (max 65W) as a wall charger and doubles as a portable power bank (max 30W) lasting up to 2.1 on-the-go charges for an iPhone 13. As a wired power source, it’s compatible with any device that can be charged via a USB-A or a USB-C connection, though charging speeds will vary depending on how many ports are in use. Laptops and tablets generally won’t charge when all three are occupied while in power bank mode.

There are a few important factors to consider when selecting an iPhone charger. The first is whether you want a wireless MagSafe or a wired connection that charges via your device’s Lightning port. Note that Apple’s USB-C-to-Lightning cable used with certain Apple and third-party power adapters offers the fastest charging—up to 50% battery in 30 minutes—and while Apple’s MagSafe standard will charge an iPhone 12 and newer at 15W, older iPhones (as well as the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 13 mini, and other compatible devices) will juice up more slowly when charged wirelessly. We have a range of accessories for iPhones with MagSafe - chargers are just the beginning. Our wireless charger range includes compatible with MagSafe charger mounts and more. The Mous mentality doesn’t change with MagSafe - wireless charging mounts are all extremely secure. Like our other products, including iPad cases and AirPods cases, our products for wireless charging are seriously stylish. Our MagSafe compatible chargers and compatible with MagSafe wireless mounts provide ultimate versatility for your wireless charging options. Charge your phone however you want, wherever you want. You know your iPhone will be secure on our MagSafe compatible chargers. This charging station can charge multiple Apple devices at the same time, including an iPhone, an Apple Watch, and AirPods. It uses Apple's MagSafe technology to deliver 15W charging speeds on the iPhone 12 or later models. Additionally, your Apple Watch Series 7 and Series 8 will charge 33 percent faster than other charging stations. This charger still works great with other smartphones, you just won't be able to access many of those Pixel features. The biggest downside? Charging only works in portrait orientation. Oh, and it's definitely overpriced. The good news is the first-gen Pixel Stand is still available for much less; you can recharge your phone in landscape and portrait orientation, and I daresay it looks more interesting. The Anker 511 Charger (Nano 3, 30W) is the best option for charging the iPhone 14 at home or on the go. It offers a compact design while delivering sufficient power for fast charging the latest iPhones, including the iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, if you prefer an affordable option without compromising compatibility or fast charging capabilities, the official Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter is a better alternative.

The most obvious MagSafe Charger to buy for your Apple iPhone is, of course, the Apple MagSafe Charger. It’s the charger that Apple would have shipped with the iPhone if it did such things anymore.

As it is “compatible with” rather than certified MagSafe, it wirelessly charges the iPhone at 7.5W rather than 15W. The Evolved 3-in-1 Foldable Charger is a neat, portable way to charge all your Apple mobile devices—Watch, iPhone, AirPods—at the same time. The Zens 4-in-1 Modular Charging Station for iPhone with MagSafe, AirPods, Apple Watch and iPad is a MagSafe-certified charging stand that can handle not just four Apple devices but more if you buy extra charging modules to connect. This 3-in-1 charger for iPhone, Watch and AirPods has a small footprint, a little smaller than even the Twelve South HiRise 3 Deluxe reviewed above. It also matches that charging station in terms of charging speed. It’s fully certified for iPhone (so fast 15W) and Watch (fast 5W). Non-certified rivals will charge an iPhone at 7.5W and Watch at 3W. The lower charging pad is rated at 5W and can be used to charge your AirPods or a second phone, although not magnetically and much slower than the main MagSafe pad. If you’re an all-Apple-all-the-time iPhone user who prefers wireless charging, Apple’s MagSafe charger is for you. The charger and iPhone magnets are made for each other, meaning this charger snaps easily and securely into place, and like most Apple products, looks sleek. It charges up to 15W on most iPhone 12, iPhone 13, and iPhone 14 models when plugged into a 20W adapter and also works with older Qi-compatible iPhones and most AirPods/AirPods pro cases. In testing, our iPhone 13 reached 25% battery in 30 minutes using the Apple MagSafe plugged into a MacBook Air. The most basic form of MagSafe or magnetic charger is the simple pad that latches on to the compatible iPhone. Some pads feature a pop-out arm so the iPhone can be propped up while charging. The stand works in landscape and portrait orientations but isn’t high. It does have adjustable viewing angles up to 60°.

Fully certified by Apple, it can wirelessly charge an iPhone at 15W and can also fast-charge an Apple Watch at the same time. You need to attach at least a 20W USB-C charger. Not all phones support wireless charging, but most brands have models that do, so look up your phone model first. You'll usually see "Qi wireless charging" (the default standard) or simply "wireless charging" if it does. It’s 15.4cm (6in) high, 15.9cm (6.3in) deep and 8.5cm (3.4in) wide. In comparison, the Belkin 3-in-1 is 13.5cm wide. For an even smaller footprint, consider the OtterBox 3-in-1 Charging Station, reviewed below. Keep in mind that MagSafe chargers and MagSafe- compatible chargers aren't the same. A MagSafe charger supports a maximum output of 15W and has a built-in magnetometer and compass to prevent interference if you use your iPhone while charging. Chargers that are only MagSafe-compatible rely on the Qi charging standard, max out at charging speeds of 7.5W, and don't feature anti-interference features. Those compromises could be a deal breaker for some, but you might not care in light of their lower cost. The charging panel connects to the mat with a light magnetic snap, and can be positioned on either side simply by flipping the mat round 180 degrees, depending on whether you are left or right handed.

The pad format is better for travel portability than a charging stand, and it comes with its own wall power supply unit, so you don’t need to add your own USB-C charger.

Wireless charging isn't nearly as cool as it sounds. It's not exactly wireless—a cord runs from an outlet to the charging pad—and it won't charge your smartphone faster than plugging it in with a good ol’ cord. Still, I'm always disappointed when I test a smartphone that doesn't support it. I've gotten used to simply plopping my phone down on a pad every night, and fishing for a cable in the dark feels like a chore. It's pure convenience more than anything else. When you choose a wireless charger for your iPhone, make the most of your MagSafe. Chargers which connect seamlessly to your MagSafe compatible case provide better optimised charges. Simply slip off your MagSafe compatible card wallet and slide your wireless charger onto your iPhone with MagSafe. Charger mounts and MagSafe compatible chargers from Mous have 36 perfectly positioned magnets to ensure a strong connection and magnetically aligned charge. Enjoy the benefits of MagSafe - wireless charging with Mous is seamlessly MagSafe compatible. It’s quite a large mat, measuring 780 x 70 x 4mm. The Light gray color is actually more of a warm stone tone. This 3-in-1 MagSafe charger is certified by Apple, so offers full 15W wireless charging for iPhone 12/13/14/15 plus 5W for AirPods and 5W for Apple Watch. It’s as minimalist a design as you’d expect from Apple–it looks a lot like the Apple Watch Charger.
