Exclamation shares the somewhat prominent peach note but it’s lighter than Tresor, and in my opinion this is its saving grace. uk accepts no liability for inaccuracies or misstatements about products by manufacturers or other third parties.

Of course it can be worn by any girl or guy of any age but the notes are serious florals and this is a Sophia Grojsman perfume and she has created some amazing fragrances throughout the years. This may be too muchl for me and Sophia Grosjmans perfumes are such intricate heavy heady floral peachy BOMBs but even if my tastes have changed, I think I still want to own this. I have a bottle of this and I’m not sure why I bought it because I didn’t like it then, and don’t particularly like it now. I never thought I liked fruity scents, but it seems, having seen the notes list, I have a thing for peach, Rose, vanilla and Amber. I remember spraying it on, then playing Duck Hunt with my brother on his new Nintendo that Santa brought him.

I was a fragrance snob then; I got so many compliments on this scent and I tried to pass it off as Chanel! I enjoyed the perfume very much and I will be wearing it much more often, it hasn't changed a bit from my recollection. In those days it was hard to find even scented strips in magazines that smelled like something suitable to a girl when all you smelled was Giorgio Beverly Hills scent strips, Coco Eau de Parfum and heavy Oriental florals for mature ladies. New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . The second girl is more modern, she’s wearing this because it’s the epitome of virginal femininity and she wears it in an ironic way even though we all know she’d like to be perceived as more innocent than she actually is.

I always sat in the middle where I could take a good look at all the other students - and vice versa. I asked her about Ex'cla-ma'tion and she nodded vigorously and rehashed those late 80s, early 90s memories. Whenever I decide to spritz one of these two scents on, women and men constantly ask what I am wearing and tell me I smell good and want to know what it is. It smells just like me in a hotel room, the air conditioner smell taking up the place, mixing with sweat and love and vanilla, it’s a peachy veil of a fragrance that makes even the most mundane of things feel feminine and vintage, not in a practical way but in some type of mirage of dried flowers and soap and love. And when I think of it I remember the smell of it mixed with hairspray and cigarette smoke in the girls bathroom of the high school. I used to spray it on my fitted denim jacket during the summer when I hung around with my friends on a small wooden bridge over a burn (stream for the non Scots out there! The longevity is not bad, 4-6 hours, but the projection is non existent almost from initial application. This isn't seen as anything all that special because it's inexpensive and a bit dated on top of not being the best quality, but I adore it anyway and will wear it till they stop making it or I die, whichever comes first. I'm very much a fan of her fragrances, especially the ones with peach notes, so it's a no-brainer that Exclamation is a favorite of mine.

While my friends and I (being SO early 2000's by driving new Beetles and wearing Tommy Girl, Ralph Lauren Ralph and Lucky You) rolled our eyes and scoffed at our dated, strong-smelling classmate together, alone I leaned into her while passing her in the hall and stood next to her after P. Coty classics, celebrity scents, an impressive selection of Thierry Mugler Alien, Angel and their flankers all sharing the shelf with boxes of humorous knock-offs like Crazy Lady and Hotness. The current iteration opens with a screechy synthetic peach note that eventually transforms into a sweet powder bomb. surprisingly enough, this doesn't smell dated to me at all - in fact, it smells like something i'd see featured at BBW. Furthermore, I get more plastic notes from today’s fruity scents(hello bitter peach) than this ever had(it never did to me).I got it cause I wanted to feel the past come back at least the good times I had but its not what I expected. I bought a small bottle of Exclamation recently, as I find myself revisiting nostalgic scents of the '90s. This was the height of femininity just like a girl's make-up kit which she would keep in her handbag she would take out just in time for the school dance. To me it's quite unique, something I haven't smelled before (it might be because of the peach note).

Even my English teacher was wearing this and every time she spoke to me, I couldn't catch my breatch! Just like most current formulations of older fragrances this one has taken a pretty big hit in the performance department.I bought a new bottle of cologne, it stayed with me for a month or two and I wore it three times so far. That one comes up as a leather powder, an interesting comparison though I appreciate they are quite different scents. The peach is definitely there, not too artificial of a scent, starts off bitter peach when first sprayed and dies down to a nice sweet peach pretty quickly.
