While both cognac and armagnac are French brandies, distilled from white wine grapes and aged in oak, armagnac is crucially distilled just once, keeping the idiosyncrasies of the wines rather than smoothing them out. Armagnac has been produced for 700 years making it the oldest spirit in France (possibly the world). Crafted in small batches by skilled artisans in France, using traditional techniques, it guarantees exceptional quality.

Clés Des Ducs VSOP Vieil Armagnac is a blend of Armagnacs that have been left to age for a minimum of four years in new light oak casks. This VSOP is made from a blend of armagnacs from five different years, consisting of 35 per cent baco, 35 per cent colombard, 15 per cent folle blanche and 15 per cent ugni blanc, giving it a full burst of flavour.Janneau matures its vintages for a minimum of 18 years before bottling, allowing the spirit to soften and develop in complexity.
