The 4711 perfume, which was still classified as a perfumed water at the time, has been available since 1799.

She kept a bottle of this in every bathroom in her house, and some of my earliest memories are of the blue and gold label. I am surprised that 4711 is still around, that so many people on Fragrantica are trying and actually liking it and that it is even a topic in 2022. Friendly, approachable, leaves you in a better mood, but doesn't alter your day or emotional/mental trajectory. I couldn't figure out which note it was at first but I did notice immediately it reminded me of Bobby Brown Beach.
