Before I now evaluate the fragrance, I would like to add before that Creed Aventus is one of my absolute favorite fragrances and the house Creed my favorite manufacturer! A few people have mentioned a slight "green" vibe going on despite the notes being mostly light and citrusy. Third, the combo of pineapple and bergamot is authentic, Aventus like, the woody dry down is very good, if you like Aventus type of smell this will definitely deliver. This is almost indistinguishable including the birch smokiness and with out the harsh citric opening of CDNIM. This is it man, very close to CDNIM drydown with the bonus added creamy after taste…fresh and clean shaving cream vibe which is loved by all women. However I must say neither does a good job conveying the original fragrance and I cant for the life of me understand how people can say they cant smell the difference. It smells like a resinous branch from a tree in the woods, but still light because of the citrus note. I get decent performance with this one and if you don’t care about a pineapple opening then you’d probably love this one.I can't smell it at all after a few minutes, but did get some complaints in the office that it is too strong after only three sprays.

It may not have the opening pineapple that Aventus is supposed to have but the lemon and bergamot come together quite nicely and almost have that pineapple scent on the dry down.If you're a hardcore frag head, you probably wouldn't even consider this over Aventus, but my wallet is grateful that L'Aventure exists.

on the positive side it smells really good, is affordable, and it has some really strong smokey Aventus vibes. It's hard to argue that, once into the drydown, L'Aventure Intense isn't a very good smelling scent.

The difference between the two batches of Creed Aventus and l’aventure is all in the first 5 minutes. Again, not too much and its dry down is a very nice lightly smoked citrusy aroma and carries a very masculine tone. Even if my brother didn't bathe in two 100ml bottles of the standard version over the past 5 years and it wasn't a new fragrance sort of excitement I'd still prefer intense. Top notes are Bergamot, Lemon and elemi; middle notes are Woody Notes, Lily-of-the-Valley and Jasmine; base notes are Musk, Amber and Patchouli.

I'm not the biggest fan of the first 30 minutes (I can smell some lemon pledge chemical stuff, especially from too close) but the dry down (and the more it dry the better it smells) is a great clone of Aventus. I bought CDNIM LE, L adventure, Pur Lui zebra, Montblanc explorer and iam looking for good Aventus alternative.

Yes it was released prior to this frag and the intense version, but it is still truer to Aventus with the Black Current, Pineapple, etc.
