Description

Drygrip Adhesive will skin over within approximately 15 - 30 minutes. The cure rate will be approximately 2 mm in depth per 24 hours, this may be slower on non-porous surfaces. Dryzone Damp-Proofing Cream solves many of the problems that were inherent in pressure-injection rising damp treatments. It requires no expensive specialist equipment to buy or maintain, the material itself is not hazardous or caustic and it does not require constant attention once the application has begun. After the initial treatment of the source of the rising damp has been completed, the traditional practice is to replaster the affected wall, using salt-resistant sand and cement render as a basecoat. This is often required because the groundwater that rises up a wall can contain salts that contaminate both the wall itself and the attached décor. The process requires two coats of sand and cement render, with a salt resistant additive, and a final coat of plaster. Should I Replaster? Simply pierce the foil sausage and insert into the main tube to enable use. The high-torque trigger

Available in 3 and 5 litre tubs – Coverage rate of 5 m 2 per litre – Brush or roller applied Drygrip Adhesive: Drygrip Adhesive allows plasterboard to be attached to a wall, without the use of dry lining battens. It leaves an air gap between the plasterboard and the wall, protecting décor from damp issues whilst the wall dries out. The Drygrip itself is moisture resistant and, in conjunction with the Dryshield Cream, will resist crystallising salts. How Drygrip is Applied

The Dryzone System 12mm SDS Masonry Drill Bit is a high-quality drill bit, specially selected for the purpose of drilling holes in mortar courses. Due to its width and length, the drill bit is ideal to use as mm × 5.5 mm plastic positioning plugs. They are used to set the air gap between the board and the wall before the Dryzone Adhesive cures. At the beginning of 2014, Dryrod Damp-Proofing Rodswere launched as the next step in rising damp treatments. They are patented fibre rods that are simply inserted into the wall along a horizontal mortar course. Once inserted, the rods will diffuse high-performance water-repellent ingredients into the wall, curing to form a barrier to damp. Drygrip Adhesive is a salt and damp resistant adhesive glue Fixes plasterboard to walls without the need for battens or screws. Easily applied with the Dryzone High Viscosity Applicator gun cures to allow plasterboard to accept new plaster after only 1-2 hours.

Dryshield Cream is a salt resistant, breathable and water-repellent cream. It is used as a primer for Drygrip Adhesive and as a salt inhibitor on walls that have just been treated for rising damp with Dryzone Damp-Proofing Cream. Why Dryshield is Required Excellent Bonding: Drygrip Adhesive is specifically formulated to adhere plasterboard directly to masonry surfaces. When used in conjunction with Dryshield Cream, it delivers exceptional bonding strength. the guillotine blade is safely stored within the body, which ensures the cutter is safe to transport. Dryzone System Hole Clearing Tool plastic positioning plugs. They are used to set the air gap between the board and the wall before the Dryzone Adhesive cures.Leave the Drygrip Adhesive to cure for 1½ hours and then apply skrim tape and plaster as per normal plastering procedure. Dryshield makes the surface it is applied to hydrophobic and weakens the crystallisation strength of the salts within, or at, the masonry surface. The surface is left breathable, so water vapour can still escape the wall, which allows it to dry out, but salts are not able to build up on the surface and contaminate, or dislodge, any part of the plasterboard. How Dryshield is Applied Once fixed, the boards can be tape-jointed and skimmed as in ordinary dry lining situations. Dryzone Mould Resistant Emulsion Paint The Dryzone Express Replastering System is the fast, clean and modern way to replaster a wall after the treatment of rising damp. The system utilises a salt inhibitor cream and a salt & damp resistant adhesive to adhere plasterboard to salt contaminated walls.
