In the morning routine, it was Niacinamide followed by Alpha Arbutin and in the nighttime routine, it was Salicylic Acid followed by Niacinamide. No matter what, my sequence remained the same i.e, Salicylic Acid, then Niacinamide, and then Alpha Arbutin. Yes, we are talking about dupes! Skincare dupes have been a thing for a while now, and it’s always interesting to do a Face-off between similar products. Now before I move on with my experience, let me tell you how I incorporate Minimalist Serums into my Skincare routine. Within the first week, I noticed huge results. There was no new pimple or any red painful cystic acne and the one which was already there, dried and popped super fast. A blend of Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 & the Red Clover Extract, to not only preserve hair follicle stem cell activity, but it also modulate DHT (a hormone, high levels of which, results in hairfall)

A facial serum is the most potent way to give your skin a concentrated burst of any skincare ingredient, and a serum primarily containing hyaluronic acid is an efficient way to infuse the skin with this plumping and hydrating wonder-stuff. If your goal is softer, firmer, fresher skin, adding a layer of HA serum to your skincare routine can really make a difference to your skin’s hydration levels and overall texture. The Minimalist Niacinamide Serum, however, doesn’t do that. There is no soapy feel or foam after application. It’s just a smooth liquid that you pat into your skin and voila, it’s done. Ingredients: Niacinamide suddenly gained hype and this was the first time I tried Niacinamide in my skincare routine. Face products are a recent addition to Australian brand Frank Body’s offer – its affordably priced line-up embraces straight-to-the-point names such as brightening vitamin C mask, rewind retinol serum and extra clean face mask. There are currently 11 key vegan-friendly skincare buys, with additional lip and make-up options, too.

Within 20 days, it faded away all the tiny acne marks I was having on my cheeks and on my nose. There was this group of deep acne marks on my chin which is now 80% reduced. It is still here and it is going to take more time considering the intensity but the way alpha-arbutin worked in fading away these marks, is amazing. I LOVED this salicylic acid serum from minimalist as it works really well on acne, helps in controlling oil production and keeps my pores clean and clog-free. I would highly recommend you to try this if you have Acne-prone and oily skin. The concentration of the active ingredient and the pH are very important for any serum to work effectively. Minimalist has really considered these two and formulated in a way that it would work without compromising on skin barrier. This is a well-researched Ingredient and is one of the most stable and safe, yet effective chemical to be used on the skin. It’s an absolute boon for repairing and soothing the skin. Ordinary Vs The Minimalist Niacinamide Serum The Ordinary Vs The Minimalist Niacinamide Serum

If you’re new to the Skincare World, you might not know what Niacinamide is and why it’s worshipped by Skincare fiends across the globe?! So, let’s do some homework before we get into the spicy part of this post. It’s just like water. Minimalist salicylic acid serum is a water-based serum. The fact that brand has used aloe juice instead of water attracted me. I t gets absorbed into the skin immediately and does not make my skin dry or stretchy or oily. Salicylic acid is chemical exfoliator (BHA). Now don’t freak out after reading the word “chemical”. No these are not harmful.

Hello Sunday

As my skin became gradually more troublesome and my acne began flaring up more regularly over the years, I started feeling increasingly more lost when it came to my skincare routine. As a beauty editor who knows the ins and outs of every skincare product and ingredient out there, even I couldn’t get my routine right. So how the hell was anybody else supposed to? When I reached out to skincare experts, their solution was always the same: reduce the number of products I was using. But how can I? I thought. Surely my skin needs all of these vital ingredients? Lightweight, fast-absorbing formula made with aloe vera juice instead of water present in other serums to soothe the irritation generally associated with exfoliation The Ordinary Niacinamide Serum and The Minimalist Niacinamide Serum are both suitable for all skin types, especially for Combination-Oily Skin. They are suitable to be used during the AM or PM. Skin Benefits: All these serums I have, Salicylic Acid, Niacinamide, and Alpha Arbutin are transparent runny serums with Aloe Juice as their base.
