Continue on the A494 for approximately 46 miles, then just after Rhydymain, turn left onto the B4416 (signposted Brithdir) and at the T-junction turn left onto the A470 (signposted Llangurig). At the “Cross Foxes Inn” turn right (signposted Machynlleth) and continue forward onto the A487. Stay on the A487 for 40 miles until you reach Aberaeron. Branch left onto North Parade – A482 (signposted Lampeter). Pass through Temple Bar and Celtic Lakes Resort is located soon after on the A482 In total there are 7 lakes, with 2 of these being specimen carp lakes with the record being 53lb.
