Because hands come in so many sizes and preferences vary so widely, I can see the Supra being an attractive option to a wider audience. Perhaps a couple sharing the pen? A growing child? Someone who likes both very long and very short pens? I can’t think of many situations where it would be necessary. Rather, the Supra is an impressive looking pen that can transform into several different pens. I think the Liliput would be a bit small for me. I have a Skyline Sport, and it feels like a feather compared to my other pens. Of all the Kaweco pens I’ve tried, the Dia2 is my favorite. I have not tried a Liliput nor a Supra though, at least not yet. The only way I’d see one in person is if I drove a few hours away. There are no pen stores around me, not even close. I think a retro clip like the Dia2 has, with the fireblue Supra would be fantastic. I know, they don’t have them yet. 🙂

Fireblu2 is the better fireblu texture. - Doom General

I was tempted to buy a pen and give it to a friend of mine who has a big workshop with quite a few blowtorches. But I guess it could be risky. I’m not sure about the Liliput and a converter. It’s not recommended, but it’s possible one could try the Kaweco silicone squeeze converter. This wasn’t my pen, so I didn’t. 🙂 Branding is minimal — just a laser-etched logo in the domed steel of the pen end, and a little more round the barrel. the joy of an inexpensive pen with a broad or stub nib: shimmering inks, sheening inks, no fear of ruining something super collectable/rare/vintageSorry...Even anodizing (as the blue of the Karas Kustoms "Ink" is done) will wear away with use. Its quite frustrating because I love that bright blue color of the Karas Kustoms pens, but I refuse to buy the pen because I know what anodized aluminum looks like after hard wear. Ugly, IMO. Unlike the other pens in the Liliput range, the Liliput Fireblue pen's barrel and cap are made of blued stainless steel. This process of blueing is done by hand and through the action of different temperatures, the individual pen receives a varied colouring of shimmering bluish and brownish colour nuances. Resulting in an entirely unique pen that can be further changed over time through use. Making for a pen that is entirely unique. The blued steel barrel and cap is further complimented through the use of a gold Kaweco logo and detailing on the top of the pens screw-on cap.

tinta - I know what you mean. I would rather have the copper one than the plain stainless (silver) one, but I am afraid that no matter what, a Liliput of some sort is going to find its way to me! I personally don't like it that much, blue fire? doesn't make much sense to me, but, what can I do? It's a texture, and I respect the people who like it. Holding the pen with no middle section and unposted made my hand feel cramped and awkward. Not something I would ever enjoy using. But the unposted pen feels much nicer. Unposted, the Supra weighs 42g (1.48 ounces) so it still feels hefty, but the length is cut down to around 12.5cm (5.25 inches). In this form it’s definitely longer than the Sport when capped, but much more usable, without the faff of posting the cap to write. You'll have to reduce them to 10% of their current size for use though (possibly by nearest neighbor)(each pixel is 10x10 pixels). Lately I've been interested in the compact size & the various new iterations of the Liliput. The screw in nib-units are a great feature of this diminutive Kaweco. We can engrave any letter, number or character that can entered from a standard computer keyboard, in any language. This includes English, Arabic, Hebrew, Greek, Cyrillic etc. Length of extended Supra capped and closed: about 13 cm or 5 1⁄ 8 inches. Length of extended Supra posted, excluding nib: about 14 cm or 5 1⁄ 2 inches. Length of shorter Supra (without extension piece) capped and closed: about 9.7 cm or just over 3 3⁄ 4 inches.

Fireblue, Kaweco Liliput Stainless Pen Review: Kaweco Liliput Fireblue, Kaweco Liliput Stainless

Yes" indicates that this pen can be converted into an eyedropper pen, which is filled by putting ink directly into the barrel. For instructions, see our eyedropper conversion guide. For "Yes - with Modification," see the Questions & Answers section above and the guide. Sharp is a good word to use, actually, because there are a few edges to catch the finger. With the extension tube inserted, there’s a step midway down the barrel, and the step up from the section is a bit edgy too. Finally, the pen can be used without the middle section, unposted. This gives a pen that is just 9.5 cm (3.75 inches) long and weighs 31 g (1.1 ounces). This was by far my least favorite setup.Support for many vanilla doom wads, allowing every favorite wad to be a completely colorful experience! Reviewing the Kaweco Liliput Fireblue was a huge challenge, more so than any other pen I can remember. There is so much to discuss with it that even finding a starting place is difficult, but let's give it a shot. How to tell if a pen is wet or dry. How to remedy with out doing things to the pen (using dry or wet inks).

not related but why do people hate the fireblue texture so much? i mean not that tis topic is hating it but everytime i see people talking about it its because they hate it The Kaweco Supra Fireblue is made of blue stainless steel and is a real eye-catcher. It is produced from high-quality stainless steel and is 'blued' by hand, which makes every item individual. I received a Kaweco Supra Fireblue on loan a few weeks ago. Thank you to Appelboom for lending it to Well-Appointed Desk!

I am a fan of these Kaweco stainless steel nibs. They’ve been very good out-of-the-box in my experience, but I like that they can be easily adjusted if you want to increase ink flow. I also love being able to remove them for cleaning, and to swap them into other Kaweco pens. When the metal extension is removed, the brass Supra shrinks to a length closer to the two small Kaweco Liliputs, though wider. That extra diameter adds some writing comfort. I love the size and diameter of the Supra. However, because I don’t have huge hands, a 40 gram pen is too heavy for me to write with for hours straight. But I found the Supra surprisingly comfortable for shorter writing sessions.
