About this deal

Honestly, Kolis had enough creeper moments to make you want to just throw him out the window, but I also saw the soft side of him. How much he wanted her to love him and accept him but then a minute later he would lose his shit and threaten or even harm her physically. He was completely unhinged, and you could not understand how he could think that Sotoria would ever love him. Sera is able to slightly feel her within herself as Sotoria’ s soul is within Sera, and it was obvious from certain reactions from Sotoria that she was NOT in any shape or form loving or cared for Kolis. and this is so random, but was i the only person getting weird pregnancy trope vibes?? maybe i'm just paranoid and on the eternal lookout for signs because i DREAD the pregnancy trope, but for some reason i kept getting hints haha. surely not though... the ending was so tame?? since this wasn’t the last book in the series, i expected another cliffhanger, but the ending was good and cute. JLA could’ve fleshed out this ending a little bit more and i would have accepted it as the series final. everyone was so happy, the villain was momentarily defeated .. why do we even need a fourth book? I'm late writing my review, but I was travelling and despite the fact I read this (I mean devoured) this book in less than 24 hours. This will obviously be a long review so prepare! there's something so beautiful about the way Jennifer writes fr, she just makes you feel so much with her words, her characters are literally the best, ilove all of them

For if they rose, they did so as blood and bone, the ruin and the wrath of that once great beginning. This book could have been reduced to half its size (probably less) and added the fourth book material to finish the series. With every new addition to their story I fell for them more and more. I feel that with this latest one I am now just so pleased for them. But even though the middle dragged, I still enjoyed Sera's emotional struggle and her progression into understanding what she's capable of and what she's allowed to feel.

Sera is also assaulted by him; he drinks from her and gets off on it and also physically assaults her in a few occasions because he cannot control his anger. It pissed me off when Poppy and Cas were separated for most of a book (WOTQ? I forget) but that she DID IT AGAIN. Sera and Nyktos were separated for 65% OF THE DAMN BOOK. 65% of Kolis whining and Poppy overthinking and literally nothing happening. What is the point of spending two books introducing incredible characters like Aois, Nektas, Bele and then not even using them?

OH, YOU KNOW WHAT? I forgot another huge reveal about Sotoria and most importantly Callum. I haven't spoken about him at all. He is revealed to being her BROTHER and the first revenant but the reason he is so different is because when Kolis created him he had actual emotions and guilt, and he has tried to replicate the revenants after that but never could. SO yeah Callum is Sotoria's older brother, and he felt guilty concerning her death as he was supposed to be with her that day she ran off the cliff. Fire in the Flesh," the third installment in Jennifer L. Armentrout's gripping Flesh and Fire series, continues to captivate readers with the enthralling love story of Ash and Sera. Right from the outset, it's clear that the chemistry between the protagonists is electric, making them a fantasy couple for the ages. Admittedly, personal tastes vary, but for me, their connection has been a highlight since the first book, and this installment only solidifies their status as an ultimate fantasy couple.
