About this deal

The T. rex skeleton with base measures over 5 in. (13 cm) high, 11 in. (29 cm) long and 3.5 in. (9 cm) wide. Together with the other builds and minifigures, it’s great for everyday play. The T. rex skeleton is posable so kids can play with it like a normal LEGO® dinosaur toy figure, and it comes with a stand to display it as a museum exhibit. The only weak point is the minifigures, which to be fair, are never the strongest features of Jurassic World set. Having Darius in an accessible set is a nice bonus for fans of the Camp Cretaceous, but the recycled Owen Grady just feels lazy, and it would’ve been nice to get another generic minifigure, or museum attendant just to mix things up.

It’s a new recolour from the Baby Triceratops found in Dr Wu’s Baby Dinosaur Lab set, and looks really cute from all angles. T. rex Dinosaur Fossil Exhibition represents an interesting departure from earlier LEGO Jurassic World sets. Despite comprising relatively simple construction techniques, this skeletal dinosaur includes great detail and the proportions correspond almost perfectly with the existing LEGO Tyrannosaurus rex. In fact, the basic structure complements minifigure skeletons, which are comparably simple. The LEGO 76940 T. rex Dinosaur Fossil Exhibition is one of the many sets of the LEGO Jurassic World theme. Features As it’s meant to be displayed on its platform, you can easily remove it and the T. Rex skeleton functions pretty well as a standalone re-animated skeleton dinosaur, and the posable knees and hips give you plenty of options on how you want to pose it. Camp Cretaceous is an animated TV series on Netflix, but is remarkably good (and quite dark), so give it a try if you’re interested in the Jurassic World franchise. If you enjoy LEGO Jurassic World sets, especially LEGO T. Rexes, or if you have a young child that’s obsessed about dinosaurs, this is a no-fuss, and totally enjoyable set.

Coolness [3] – A really unique set that stands out against the more action-based Jurassic World themeThis 198-piece set is ideal for a young LEGO fan who is looking for a more challenging building experience. It comes with illustrated, step-by-step instructions so they can build with confidence. LEGO components satisfy stringent industry standards to ensure simple and secure connections and robust builds. The uniformity between the Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton and standard LEGO dinosaurs is excellent, maintaining almost identical dimensions and proportions. The construction techniques seem relatively simple, but are effective, while the accompanying baby Triceratops is welcome, exhibiting unique sand blue and tan colours. Minifigures Inspired by Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous and other Jurassic World stories, this toy playset makes a cool birthday gift, Christmas present or surprise treat for dinosaur-loving kids aged 7 and up.

The T. rex skeleton is posable so kids can play with it like a normal LEGO dinosaur toy figure, and it comes with a stand to display it as a museum exhibit. LEGO Jurassic World building sets allow kids (and adult fans) to recreate scenes from the animated series and movies, dream up unique stories or simply display the cool, collectible models. Two joints are also located on each leg, providing a satisfying range of motion. These colours appear inconsistent, although I consider this excusable behind the feet because real dinosaur skeletons require additional support and these commonly present contrasting colours. Despite its articulation, this model features an elegant base, correctly identifying the Tyrannosaurus rex as dwelling across North America between 68 and 66 million years ago.If you already own 21320 Dinosaur Fossils, this set also feels like a great companion to expand it!

September 2021 marked the release of new Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous LEGO sets, with several sets that should delight fans of LEGO dinosaurs. If you’ve been following the blog for some time, you’d know that I have a long and well-documented love for any set with LEGO Dinosaurs. Here’s a closer look at both minifigures. Owen Grady is Owen Grady with Chris Pratt’s signature dirty-mo look. This is like the de-facto Owen Grady minifigure, so there’s nothing new here. Not the most interesting build, although I like the technique for the wheels of the trolley, but it does give context to the set being in a museum. A nice little bonus addition for LEGO Dinosaur collectors is the inclusion of this Blue Baby Triceratops, or maybe more accurately, a Baby Blue Triceratops.
