Description

A zipped grass collection bag with a capacity of 35 litres is comparatively smaller than other models that we discussed above. However, the bag collects a significant amount of waste leaves due to a decent shredding ratio of 10:1. Moreover, you don’t have to make repeated trips to the compost heap. However, what I noticed was if the gutter has been left so long it’s literally full of beautiful soil, it won’t budge an inch. You’ll still have to clean your gutters the old fashion way (in my case I use a petrol pressure washer) 😀 Power – is cordless enough or do I need a petrol leaf blower? There are 6 speed settings to choose from that are selected with a roll of your thumb over the dial located on the rubberised handle, and the built in axial fan on this model gives you a good level of airflow and velocity throughout. If you want to clean large leaves without wasting much time or energy, then Handy THEV2600 is the right option to try. It comes with a powerful 2600W motor that delivers what you need but never struggles. The leaf blower vacuum has a 35-litre grass collection box and a mulching ratio of 10:1. In other words, it can accommodate up to 350 litres of grasses without any hassle. The support wheels work well, but I was able to hold The Handy off the ground for a full half-hour without getting tired. It’s light enough to manage without the wheels, but I can see they’d be useful for folk with trouble lifting.

The vacuum cum blower weights 4.2 kg, which is not high, but not low either. However, due to its ergonomic handles and shoulder strap, you can easily operate the gardening tool. Its maximum airspeed is 270 km/h, which means you will not have to spend much time outdoors. The maximum airspeed in its vacuum mode is 13.0m³/min. It took a good 50 turns to get the blower head off, then another 50 to screw on the vacuum head. Don’t give up! It takes time to release. Not only is it lightweight, but also extremely well balanced, and I can’t see anyone having any problems holding this in one hand for as long as they like. There are a lot of attachments available to use with this leaf blower, such as a long reach gutter cleaner, and these will add to the weight, but when used without them, it only weighs around 1.7kg.The design is different but it still has 3000 watts. I wasn’t keen on the upright design, but it suits gardeners that can’t swing a blower from their shoulder. Bosch has paid attention to its ergonomics. The handle is perfectly positioned for easy manoeuvring and the power dial is reachable without stopping the job in hand.

Having no power cord makes these tools much more agile, manoeuvrable, and some would say safer, as there is no chance of tripping over any power cable. They also give you more range if you compare them to corded electric leaf blowers, and there’s no need to use a cable reel to work at the bottom of a large garden. It wasn’t until after I’d used it that I found out it’s marketed with a ‘Pro Silence’ feature. I can say this does work and it’s nothing like roaring council-issued leaf blowers. Bosch manages to surprise is by manufacturing flexible products within a budget-friendly price range. The Bosch 06008B1070 UniversalGardenTidy belongs to the same lot and works as a vacuum, blower as well as shredder. Its lightweight, compact, and is extremely manoeuvrable in any of the garden or yard.

Testing & Customers Reviews

Cordless leaf blowers get their name from the fact that they don’t need to be plugged into your mains electricity supply, and therefore, have no power cord. So, how do they get their power? Just like every other cordless tool these days: from lithium-ion batteries. Stihl SHE71 is a high-quality tool that works as a leaf blower, vacuum and shredder. Whether you own a lawn, garden, or a small yard, it a perfect investment to accomplish most of the cleaning tasks. The multifunctional device comes with a 1100W motor, which is not among the most powerful ones. Still, its price tag is higher than other models. Do you know why? Bosch garden maintenance tool has a mulching ratio of 12:1. It comes with an inbuilt fan that ensures efficient performance without any interruption. The multipurpose device comes with a collection bag worth 45 litres. This collection bag is long-lasting because of its moisture repellent and dirt deflecting built. I tested theses cordless leaf blowers based on weight to power, value, heavy duty build, and of course, how long batteries will last. And talking of batteries: The two tubes have a very stiff connection and need a good deal of banging or someone with strong hands to force them together. The screws and clip-on shoulder strap plus bag were fairly simple to fit.
