It's possible that Lee will still end up writing Frozen 3 and either way, she will be involved in the development of the movie as she's the Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios. The latest Frozen 3 news isn't quite about the sequel itself but does confirm a continuation of the story in the world, bridging the gap between Frozen 2 and the upcoming third installment. It was announced that there would be a new Frozen podcast series to be released which would be set after the events of Frozen 2. Frozen: Force of Nature will be a 12-episode new adventure that continues the story of Elsa and Anna while also introducing plenty of new exciting characters. While there is no release date yet announced for the podcast, a synopsis has been released:
