Robin's books are: Murder Most Unladylike (Murder is Bad Manners in the USA), Arsenic for Tea (Poison is Not Polite in the USA), First Class Murder, Jolly Foul Play, Mistletoe and Murder, Cream Buns and Crime, A Spoonful of Murder, Death in the Spotlight and Top Marks for Murder. She is also the author of The Guggenheim Mystery, the sequel to Siobhan Dowd's The London Eye Mystery.

Daisy isn’t pleased to learn that a new girl -- Amina -- has captured the interest of most of their fellow students, usurping the position Daisy previously held. Shortly after the two return to Deepdean, one of their friends spots a woman being murdered in the distance outside their dorm. This perks up Daisy, as she, Hazel, and their three new fellow detectives rush outside to investigate. The girls suspect that a mother has been murdered and begin to spy on potential suspects among the parents attending the anniversary weekend. I loved seeing the other girls again and see how they changed. And I love that they finally dare to stand up for themselves. Not just with helping out with the detective society, but also with other things. They aren't afraid any more to open their mouths and let Daisy know what they think about her bossing people around and not giving them a chance.

I liked this new character - Amina, which I know is going to be a part of the “Detective Society” very soon. She is quite cheerful and ia intelligent!!! She played two pranks which were funny😂 All you have to do to win is find your nearest parent, carer, teacher or librarian, tell them the answer to the (very easy) question and they’ll be entered in the draw to win. This is only open to adults in the UK and Ireland because the prize needs to go to a school in the UK or Ireland – meaning that you and all of your friends will have access to the books if your friendly adult wins! The third mystery in the bestselling Murder Most Unladylike series; just like the iconic Agatha Christie, Hazel and Daisy have boarded the Orient Express! With wild storms preventing anyone from leaving, or the police from arriving, Fallingford suddenly feels like a very dangerous place to be. Will the restrictive school regimen prevent the girls from maintaining their superb record of crime-solving or will their insider knowledge be the thing that gives them the edge over conventional detectives?

Tragedy strikes very close to home, and this time Hazel isn't just the detective. She's been framed for murder. A welcome return to Deepdean. A murder witnessed from afar becomes the focal point for the Detective Agency this time around, but they are up against it as nothing is quite what it seems. Their friend witnesses a murder so the girls decide to investigate. Nobody is found, so as parents descend on Deepdean for the anniversary celebrations the girls decide to monitor things carefully. It’s not long before they have witnessed an actual murder, so the race is on to learn exactly who is behind this crime. When Hazel Wong's beloved grandfather passes away, Daisy Wells is all too happy to accompany her friend (and Detective Society Vice-President) to Hazel's family estate in beautiful, bustling Hong Kong. I was happy to see our policeman again and see how he treated the girls like equals. Letting them handle things on their side and him doing stuff on his side. I loved that he talked to them, that he tried to discuss what was going on, and that he tried to help out. Of course, he still protected them, but not in a way that most adults would do.Then Hazel discovers the Science Mistress, Miss Bell, lying dead in the Gym. To add to the mystery, when she and Daisy return five minutes later, the body has disappeared. Now Hazel and Daisy not only have a murder to solve: they have to prove one happened in the first place.

The Murder Most Unladylike series of books by Robin Stevens features the adventures of young detectives Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong, who are pupils at Deepdean School for Girls. Each story is a classic boarding school, murder mystery, ‘whodunnit’ story, set in the 1930s. The books have the feel of a quintessential Enid Blyton boarding school tale but with a great well-told Agatha Christie style plot.Plus, I loved seeing the parents and seeing them interact. And even more fun... a lot of parents were from Deepdean or the nearby boy's school. Daisy's glamorous mother is throwing a tea party for Daisy's birthday, and the whole family is invited, from eccentric Aunt Saskia to dashing Uncle Felix. Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong are taking a holiday on the world-famous Orient Express - and it's clear that each of their fellow first-class passengers has something to hide.

Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong are the stars of the Murder Most Unladylike Mysteries. Murder Most Unladylike (Murder is Bad Mannersin the USA ), Arsenic for Tea (Poison is Not Politein the USA ), First Class Murder, Jolly Foul Play, Mistletoe and Murder, the Cream Buns and Crimeseries companion, A Spoonful of Murder, Death in the Spotlight, Top Marks for Murder, Death Sets Sail and my book of Murder Most Unladylike short stories, Once Upon a Crime, are out now in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, India, Hong Kong and everywhere the Puffin editions are sold. Schoolgirl detectives Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong are at Daisy's home, Fallingford, for the holidays. Robin was born in California and grew up in an Oxford college, across the road from the house where Alice in Wonderland lived. She has been making up stories all her life. After reading so many murder mysteries, I actually discovered one of the murderers😂 But still I enjoyed it! Because this series can never dissapoint me😁 But there was a special twist in the ending❤️ And, in this book there were a ton of small twists!I want to go to Deepdean School so badly😂🤭This book took me a bit long to read and in most of the parts......I was puzzled😂 In this story, the school is preparing for its fiftieth anniversary. There is a buzz of preparations in the school for the big weekend, which will welcome in the parents of the girls at the boarding school.
