This pattern has been tested by experienced pattern testers. A huge thank you to those that tested this design. Your help is truly appreciated. I really do love all the patterns I’ve created so far, but I am over the moon excited about this new series of Flip Flop Animals. (I literally squeal with delight every time I finish one :D). The first vocal version was recorded in 1932 on BBC Radio by Henry Hall with his BBC Orchestra, with Val Rosing singing Kennedy's lyrics. The song has subsequently been recorded by numerous notable artists, including: Rosemary Clooney, Bing Crosby (recorded 22 June 1950), [7] Frank DeVol, Michael Feinstein, [8] Jerry Garcia, John Inman, Anne Murray, and Dave Van Ronk. Notable non-solo artists to record the song include the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Bad Manners, Rosenshontz, and Trout Fishing in America. For every bear that ever there was Will gather there for certain, because Today's the day the teddy bears have their picnic

I decided to once again use a chenille style yarn, but opted to use yarn from the Bernat Velvet and Bernat Crushed Velvet lines. I love how soft and squishy the animals turn out. You are more than welcome to use any type of yarn you’d like though. Just make sure you adjust the hook size accordingly. I recommend a 4.0mm (G) hook for worsted weight (4) yarn, a 5.5mm (I) hook for bulky (5) yarn and an 8.0-9.0mm (L or M/N) hook for super bulky (6) yarn. The most important thing is that the stuffing isn’t showing through the stitches. For every bear that ever there was Will gather there for certain, because Today's the day the teddy bears have their picnic. Isaacson is delighted that LGR rescued the bear, “I’m so insanely chuffed that of all the people who could give this thing a loving home, it turns out to be LGR! LGR, you’ve done justice to my PC. You’re truly the most perfect human to be the owner of my machine who will cherish and love it as much as me, my wife, and kids did!” Sewing Placement – I highly recommend pinning ALL parts in place BEFORE sewing to make sure everything sits properly and is to your liking 🙂 Note: Disregard sewing the legs and arms if you’ve already crocheted them on.

Barry Frank "(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear" and "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter" on Bell Records (1957) However, the teddy bear computer was located on the other side of the country, in Los Angeles, California. After help from a viewer, the Bear-A-Byte was on his doorstep. Do not stuff, ss in the next st, flatten and sc through both sides (4-5sts). End off leaving a 6 inch tail for sewing. How to assemble your Flip Flop Teddy Bear Crochet Pattern The Teddy Bears' Picnic" is a song consisting of a melody written in 1907 by American composer John Walter Bratton, and lyrics added in 1932 by Irish songwriter Jimmy Kennedy. It remains popular in the United Kingdom as a children's song, having been recorded by numerous artists over the decades. Kennedy lived at Staplegrove Elm and is buried in Staplegrove Church, in Taunton, Somerset, England. Local folklore has it that the small wooded area between the church and Staplegrove Scout Hut was the inspiration for his lyrics.

While working up the sample I created a ‘no sew’ version for the limbs of the pattern to cut down the assembly time (and because I really don’t like sewing ;)). There are detailed instructions, plus videos showing exactly how and where to crochet the limbs into the pattern. I also decided to work with safety eyes for the first time ever in one of my patterns, but included the link to my embroidered ‘sleepy eye’ video in case you’re gifting to someone under 3. This means that after a little nose embroidery, you only need to sew the muzzle, ears and tail, and TaDa an adorable little Flip Flop Teddy Bear will appear :). Place the legs at approx Round 5 of the body about 4 sts apart. Sew in place. When sewing the legs in place I sewed the top of the last FULL ROUND DOWN instead of just the sts from crocheting the round together.Centre the muzzle on the body placing it between Rounds 24 and 27 on the head. Stuff lightly and sew down along Round 3 of the muzzle Every teddy bear, that's been good Is sure of a treat today There's lots of wonderful things to eat And wonderful games to play Clint gave the computer some much-needed TLC, starting with a good clean-up of 20 years of dust, corrosion, and grime. He also added a hard drive and Windows ME operating system and thoroughly tested all components. He needs to work on a few minor issues, but “I am pleasantly surprised that it works,” he concludes.
