This Hanger-On Herder and his Brute Arthromite Duneskuttler is available from Forge World. Their rules can be found in Book of the Outlands. Wy’tari Stormcaller

House Van Saar have access to the best weapons technology among all the House gangs on Necromunda. This is because deep within their territory, they zealously guard a Standard Template Construct system capable of producing technology more advanced than what most other ordinary humans in the Imperium will ever get within a mile of. The Outcasts are, well, the outcasts of Necromundan society. They’re all the ones who don’t fit in any other gang, but under the banners of the rebellious Lady Credo (heavily featured in the Aranthian Succession storyline for Necromunda), they’ve found new purpose. This Hanger-On is available from Forge World. His rules are available in the box he comes in. Rogue Doc and Gang Look-Out There are no upgrade sets available for Palanite Enforcers. Additional Releases Scrutinator-Primus Servalen These Hangers-On are available from Forge World. Their rules can be found in the House of Chains book. Underhive TradersHole punch or pin vise, for making rivet holes. I’m usually a big fan of using a power drill, but in this case I worried about having enough control not to just bore straight through the base. The Outcasts gang doesn’t have a gang expansion available, but they don’t need one anyway, since they can field mostly anything. Vehicles It was one of my favourite displays I worked on in my time with the Warhammer World Studio team. We really pushed ourselves to replicate the terrifying world of Necromunda . It was a significant technical challenge that I’m very proud to have worked on.

The Cawdor gang has a box of Cawdor Ridge Walkers available, with 4 walker vehicles and their crew. Their rules can be found in The Aranthian Succession: Vaults of Temenos book. Upgrade Sets The Delaque gang hasn’t received any gang-specific Vehicles yet, but they’re bound to get a set at some point during the Aranthian Succession event. Upgrade Sets These two Brutes are available from Games Workshop. Forge World Characters Mercator Palidus Corpse Harvesting Party This Beastmaster and his caterpillars are available from Forge World. Their rules can be found in the Book of the Outlands book. Brute Handler and Chem DealerThe Genestealer Cults may look human, but they’re not: They’re a sort of civilisational virus, a genestrain planted on Necromunda by the alien Tyranids, and then slowly assimilating and growing more and more human-like, until one day, they rise up among the working classes to overthrow the powers of the world in service of ther Tyranid masters. Here's a little tutorial on how I did my Necromunda bases. The idea I had in my head for the bases was that the gang is exploring an industrial area that had previously been flooded and rust got everywhere. To begin building up the rust, I first mixed one part Wild Rider Red with 5 parts water. I then applied small pools of this mixture fairly haphazardly to all of the areas where I felt rust might naturally occur. In the picture below I’ve shown this while it’s still drying, just so that you can be mentally prepared for how awful it looks. Don’t worry, it will look better in a bit! Because I used water, these pools left tide marks around the edges when they dried. This was a stylistic choice since I felt it would look more realistically rusty, but if you’re not a fan of the tide marks then you can use Lahmian Medium instead. Business cards also work. I used some of my own, since I’m kept in a room at the office and never need to hand them out to people. It helped that mine have rounded corners, which is a Cool Shape.

These two Enforcer-exclusive Brutes are available in plastic from Games Workshop. Their rules can be found in The Aranthian Succession: Vaults of Temenos book. I still have another five eschers on sprue, but I might get some FW weapons to get some more interesting guns because I am not really feeling additional duplicate load outs. I honestly am a collector more than a player so I doubt I will have a super effective gang, but it will look cool! Conclusion When painting up a gang, it can be useful to look for a theme for inspiration. This can be reflected in your color scheme, conversions and even naming of your gang (such as SRM’s meat-themed Goliath crew). This doesn’t need to be anything particularly onerous (as evidenced below) but can serve as a unifying foundation for your gang and can help ensure they are wholly your own. The sourcebooks talk about a number of different Escher gangs with different themes or unique stylistic touches that can also serve as inspiration for your gang. And when in doubt, don’t be afraid to riff off the box art! Room for FlairThis elite House Agent for Goliath gangs is available from Forge World. His rules can be found in the House of Chains book.
