The warmth and density of hemp and smoky wood combine with the softness of sandal and the sparkle of bergamot, grapefruit, and ginger. Discover Creative Careers is an industry-led programme, working to ensure there’s a larger and more diverse intake of talent and a broader range of routes into creative industries and 13-17 Nov marks Discover! Creative Careers Week 2023 - an event providing young people with direct industry interactions.

In my opinion they knowingly and very cynically offer products designed to look like higher end brands such as Molton Brown, which wouldn’t be so bad if the contents were even halfway decent, but sadly they’re not, they’re absolutely awful. Running with the Egypt theme, Ferens Art Gallery also asked us to develop a separate exhibition uncovering the mysteries of Tutankhamun. Appealing to both children and adults alike, visitors are invited to unearth the thrilling stories, myths and controversies surrounding the treasures of Tutankhamun. Our collaboration produced an inspiring collection of content for Discover! Creative Careers. We travelled up and down the country to meet the people making things happen and dig a little deeper into their own routes into the industry. The film team met up with an exceptional range of passionate, creative and highly talented individuals. Then spent time documenting the career paths of brilliant people, forging a name for themselves already and role models for students wanting to embark on a career in creative. This resulted in a portfolio of films showcasing the hugely exciting variety of work that people do and the type of skills they hone across the Creative sector everyday. Taking artefacts and stories from the British Museum’s vast archive, we developed an interpretation plan for the exhibition to tour around the UK, stopping at Dorman Museum (Middlesbrough), Ferens Art Gallery (Hull), about to open at the Lisburn Museum (Belfast) and coming soon to Torquay Museum.
