BOSS has primed the Katana-110 Bass combo amp for live performance by allowing you to store six Tone Setting memories. Once you’ve set up your preamp type, EQ settings, Blend level and effects, you can save it as a Tone Setting for instant recall. Memories can be selected via the panel or with an optional footswitch, expression pedal or controller such as the GA-FC. Hooking up a footswitch is highly recommended if you plan on gigging, as it lets you alternate between a pristine clean Modern voice to a gritty Vintage one in a flash. Handy utilities include a balanced XLR output for connecting to a house system and a switch that chooses whether a direct, pre or post signal is sent. It's the little things that make the big difference for the gigging musician and this little pedal is one of those big differences. If an item can not be repaired, a similar alternative product or cash discount (as defined in this policy) will be offered So whatever brand or type your amp or effects pedal you're going to have the control you need from the FS-7.

Danged pricey for a footswitch. But like all things musical or otherwise, you ultimately get what you pay for. The FS-7 gives you the flexibility to choose between momentary and latching switchingas well as polarity,via a pair of switches on the side.

Just remember if you want to use the LEDs you'll need to power the FS-7 with a suitable 9V DC Powersupply, but the good news is there's an included power splitter so that you get get power to the FS-7 using your currently pedal board power supply without having to sacrifice another pedal! The FS-7 only has 1 shared polarity switch so...again..both footswitches have to be configured the same. (UGH!!)

The FS-7 is about a third of the width of a traditional two button footswitch, which gives you space for at least one more pedal on your board!
