It did take me a few times to get used to selecting the different functions, but it’s easy to remember now. As your child gets older, parents can choose to set the optional audible alarm – perfect for routine wake-up times.

For the second night I used this function and the next morning they both stayed in bed until the yellow sun appeared.I really cannot tell you how much of a positive difference the Gro Clock has had on our bedtime routine with BattleKid in the short few weeks we’ve had it. This is something I will be setting soon though in anticipation that the sleep through nights won’t be lasting long as experience dictates!

The Gro Clock has a great built-in energy-saving mode so although it is mains operated you don’t need to worry about energy consumption. The Gro-clock uses images of the sun and moon to tell children when it is time to go to sleep and when they are allowed to get up. If we go up to his room for anything other than sleep, so long as he sees Mr Sun and we say hello, he knows I’m not going in there to put him to bed. Once Ethan was sleeping through the night we were ready to tackle his early waking times, and we did this by using a Gro-Clock.
