An easy-to-wear, peaceful, completely safe fragrance, reminds you of the smell of white clothes just washed, or the smell of the morning when cool breezes blow, a scent that causes comfort and calm, gentle and soft.

Right now I also have Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Eau de Parfum and, while they are different, they both have soft powderiness with a spicy and herbal opening. I still smell it on myself many hours after spraying it although I'm not sure this is leaving a real heavy scent trail. Revisiting this fragrance as it stayed from long time in my want list: another good example of the fact that over the years the sense of smell, if you train it properly, will grow with your experience.Touch was released after the enormous success of its feminine counterpart Touch for Women from 1998. Violet Leaf, Artemisia, and Mandarin Orange are the top notes; White Pepper, Cedar, and Nutmeg are the middle notes; while White Musk, Tonka Bean, and Vetiver are the base notes. Burberry Touch is a basic fresh clean powdery scent with the main notes for me being Musk and Tonka.

I’m on my 3rd bottle since 2000, and I have always felt it was just an OK, powdery clean mens fragrance. The final dry down is quite powdery/musky and puts me in mind of frags I used to wear in the 70’s and eighties, sort of a “Jovan Musk Lite”. The performance is a bit lacking but the longevity is decent, whereby the base will linger on for some time.As it transitions, the warm, woodsy notes appear and it has a pleasantness about it that makes it a people pleasing inoffensive scent. From the moment I first experienced this fragrance, I was drawn in by its unique composition and the way it evolves on the skin. Even with the newer bottle I got from Ross, I still get 7-9 hours of performance, with a good 2-3 hours of moderate projection.
