Mark's Trains Black Tack adhesive has many uses in railway modelling, and is supplied in strips of 1m, 19mm wide and 2mm thick. It is non-toxic and specially formulated so it can be left in place for several hours without leaving any residues when it is removed (although we don’t recommend that it’s left on the outside of models or equipment for more than a couple of days to avoid marks from extended use). We'd always recommend some insurance layers of tape where possible or a safety tether (see below) but it's damn sticky yet removes clean and leaves no residue. A good pair of assault boots will protect you against moisture, slips, and shocks, improve your responsiveness, and provide all-day comfort and support.
