Apply more Leather Degreaser to a cloth and rub in a circular motion to the greasy areas. Applying heavy pressure with the cloth will assist in the removal of the grease. Continue to work the Liquid Degreaser into the rest of the affected area, rotating the cloth as it becomes dirty with the grease. Leave to dry (drying times of the degreaser can be reduced to around 10 seconds with the use of a hairdryer). Now that the new steering wheel is in place allow it to dry for at least 24 hours before you attempt any further repairs.
