When I saw that she had released a book I immediately downloaded the audiobook version and completed it within a few days. This being said, I did find this book entertaining, and if you are not looking for something too taxing to read I would definitly recommend it.

I may not myself pick this book up again, however I definitly have an idea of some other people I will recommend this to.I've read a few books by influencers now and this has to be the most self-deprecating of all of them. strong>

TikTok sensation Clara Batten has dedicated the last few years to seeking the answer to one of life’s most crucial questions:

Is it possible to raise and nurture two small humans without losing your bloody mind?

I recently read this memoir, and I found it to be both amusing and relatable, as well as having a modern feel to it.Some terminology that may be used in this description includes: Acceptable A non-traditional book condition description that generally refers to a book in readable condition, although no standard exists. I listen to this to and from work each day and it never fails to make me smile and often laugh out loud on the train! Plus we all know that smiling and laughing is good for you, so think of this book as a tonic, delivering your daily dose of fun and hysteria! TikTok sensation Clara Batten has dedicated the last few years to seeking the answer to one of life’s most crucial questions: Is it possible to raise and nurture two small humans without losing your bloody mind?

TBH it’s humour is so founded in reality of life with small people and Clara has a fantastic dry sense of humour that truly comes through as you read. I really enjoyed it from the very first page - very funny, and very real throughout and I could relate so pretty much all of it. It’s about how TikTok inadvertently gave this middle-class mum a whole new career in her 40s and my subsequent attempt to fulfil my lifelong dream of becoming an actress, it’s ridiculous stories about the perils of white wine and rose gold hair dye, and it’s an ode to the McDonald’s Drive-Thru (and my ongoing efforts to persuade my kids to come with me).She has been featured in YOU, the Daily Mail, the Sun, the Poke and Netmums, while her sketches have been shown on BBC Breakfast and Loose Women.

I needed a bit of light relief from all the other books I have been reading recently and this was the perfect solution. With over 6 million of the world’s best eBooks to choose from, Kobo offers you a whole world of reading. em>

The good news is, now she’s found (some of) the answers and is sharing her secrets with the rest of us! Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages.Of course, I am a mum so my kids are mentioned quite a bit (in fairness, they can be comedy gold) but mainly, Gin and Phonics is a humorous series of vignettes about my increasingly bonkers life with comedic anecdotes from past and present. More out of laziness than anything else but I have laughed out loud and identified many times listening to this hilarious book.
