As touched on earlier, this is the first Kobo eReader that’s made from recycled plastics and, wow, it truly doesn’t look or feel any different (in a good way). I can definitely get behind an eReader with a sustainable agenda.

This did include leaving it on Sleep mode and listening to an audiobook for about two hours while using Bluetooth. The first time top-up took 3.5 hours to go to 100% when plugged into a computer. After that, though, the battery drained down to 0% in five days with the same settings and same amount of time spent with the device. In a weird twist, plugging it in for a charge showed there was still 35% left. We’re really not sure what happened there, but we didn’t encounter this issue again (thankfully).
